Broughal Pride

We are so proud of Milena Garay, a Broughal alumna, who just won a full-tuition scholarship to Moravian University to study nursing! Read more about her honor at 69 News and the Morning Call.

6th Grade Gifted Seminar Students won the What’s So Cool About Manufacturing Award for Outstanding Editing! AND the Broughal Team was invited to compete in the state competition!

Thanks to the Bethlehem Area Public Library!

A group of Broughal students visited the Bethlehem Area Public Library’s South Side Branch on  Thursday, March 21 and created paintings for the Tiny Art Gallery. Thank you to Nayeli Hance and the library staff for welcoming us and providing such a fun afternoon!

  • If you have lost your charger or stylus pen, you may purchase replacements in the main office.

It is helpful for students to have internet access at home to support their learning on Chromebooks. The Affordable Connectivity Program is one way to save families money on internet access.


What can students safely do while they are bored?

  • Read books on your Chromebook.
    Go to Colonial IU 20 Digital Library to check books out using your student ID and password.
  • Keep up with math using IXL.
  • Read Scholastic magazines online.
  • Watch CNN 10.
  • Parents or students needing IT Help, complete this form:  https://forms.gle/ZJE6SJNaX6RSSd927 Once submitted, this form will create a Service Desk ticket and a BASD Information Services Department team member will contact you via email (the email will come from “ISD Service Desk”).
