Fourth Grade Welcome Letter

Parents,

Welcome to our classrooms and a new school year. We look forward to working together with you to make this a successful year for your child.

Communication between home and school is very important. This site will explain expected behaviors and consequences in the class management plan, as well as classroom rules, homework hints, and information for your child on how to check his/her work. This site is for you and your child to refer to when necessary.

Throughout the year you’ll hear from us, not only in writing, but also by telephone. If a problem should arise you will be contacted, but please know many of our calls are also POSITIVE.

Expected Behaviors
1. Be courteous and respect others.
2. Raise your hand if you wish to speak.
3. Complete all assignments and do your best.
4. Keep your hands, feet, and objects to yourself.
5. Listen carefully and follow directions.

Consequences

Homework Rules
1. Plan a daily homework time.
2. Take home everything you’ll need.
3. Choose a quiet study place.
4. Read and follow all directions.
5. Do your work neatly and carefully.
6. Ask for help if you need it, but do the work yourself.
7. Keep your homework in a special place.
8. Return your homework on time.
