Welcome to Second Grade with Ms. Hooks
Dear Parents,
Welcome to Second Grade. I am looking forward to a fun and exciting year with all of you!
Some items that your child will need are pencils, erasers, a box of crayons, small scissors, and a glue stick.
On the first day of school, your child will be given a “Take-Home” folder. Please help your child by checking it daily. Please return necessary papers and be sure to take out “stay-at-home” papers daily to help keep your child organized. Your child will also be given an Assignment Book for daily assignments and announcements. Please check this daily. Your signature is only required weekly. Please sign it at the end of each week in the “Saturday” block. Homework will be given Monday through Thursday.
All walkers will be dismissed by the primary wing. Please send in a note if there is a change in your child’s dismissal routine.
