Dear 8th Grade Parents & Guardians,

As we begin the 4th Quarter, many eyes turn towards the end of the school year for your 8th Grade children. Our faculty & staff will be working hard with your child right up to the end of the school year to make sure they are well prepared for Liberty High School.

To be proactive, I want to share with you the details for our major event for 8th Graders, the Moving Up Ceremony. All students moving up to Liberty High School for 9th Grade may attend the 8th Grade Moving Up Ceremony on Wednesday, June 6, 2018, at 7:00 pm in the Nitschmann Middle School Auditorium.

Ticketing: Everyone who enters the Auditorium must have a ticket, including children. All students will receive a maximum of two tickets for the Moving Up Ceremony for parents or family to attend. 8th Grade students do not need a ticket. Due to the limited seating in our Auditorium for this event, there are no additional tickets to distribute.  Tickets are transferable between families. Students must attend school for the entire day to receive their tickets in 8th Period on Wednesday, June 6, 2018.

Dress: Students should plan on dressing up for this event, as they would for our Semi-Formal Winter Dance. Formal dance attire, such as for the 8th Grade Dance, is not required.

Parking: Please be aware that parking will be at a premium on this evening and families should be prepared to arrive early for this event. The ceremony will begin promptly at 7:00 pm.

Please contact me with any questions regarding the Moving Up Ceremony.

Thank you!
