Liberty Student Mackenzie McGovern Places Third in Artistic Discovery Congressional High School Competition

Liberty High School senior, Mackenzie McGovern, was recently presented with a 2019 Artistic Discovery Congressional High School Competition and Exhibition award during a ceremony held at The Baum School of Art in Allentown.

McGovern won Third place in the 2019 Artistic Discovery Congressional High School Competition and Exhibition. McGovern also won a scholarship award for full tuition for one full class at the Baum School of Art.

The awards ceremony was attended by students and their advisors from across the Lehigh Valley as well as Congresswoman Susan Wild and representatives from Senator Pat Browne’s office.

Last November, Mackenzie won first place in the Morning Call and ArtsQuest’s InVision Photo Festival Amateur Scholastic Digital Photography Contest.
