1.\u00a0 All students who are assigned to a school bus will be dismissed to their bus unless you have communicated with their teacher about different dismissal procedures (parent pick up, child care, etc.). Please email the teacher at least 24 hours in advance regarding dismissal changes.\u00a0 Any changes made the same day must be reported directly by calling our main office.<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0 K-2 students will keep their chromebooks IN SCHOOL unless a special assignment is given by the teacher requiring the use of their device.<\/p>\n

3.\u00a0 COMMUNICATION: Two-way communication with teachers must be done through our BASD email system.\u00a0 DoJo will only be used for one-way communication from teacher to parents.\u00a0 Please respect this policy and do not message teachers using the DoJo application.\u00a0 This is a change in policy and is intended to minimize interruptions during instruction.\u00a0 If you have an urgent message for the teacher you should call the main office.\u00a0 Teachers availability is limited during the school day.\u00a0 They will let you know when their “office\/prep” hours are.\u00a0 PLEASE DO NOT USE THE EMAIL OPTION FROM PARENTVUE IN SYNERGY.\u00a0 Use our teacher’s @basdschools.org<\/a>\u00a0email account.<\/p>\n

4.\u00a0 STUDENT DROP OFF BY PARENTS: Please follow the guidelines for dropping off your children in the morning.\u00a0 Students dropped off at the curb should be able to exit the car INDEPENDENTLY.\u00a0 If your child needs assistance, please park in our lower lot and escort your child to the gym doors.\u00a0 The gym doors close at 9:05.\u00a0 Students arriving after 9:05 need to be signed in at the main office.

5.\u00a0 PARENT PICK UP: If you are picking your child up at the end of the day you must park your car in our west-side parking lot by the water tower and report to the gym doors to retrieve your child.\u00a0 Please come up to the door to allow our staff to safely transfer your child to you.\u00a0 If you do not arrive by 3:45 your child will be escorted to the main office.\u00a0 Our office closes at 4:00 PM each day.<\/p>\n

6.\u00a0 CUSTODY AGREEMENTS \/ LEGAL DOCUMENTATION – Please email your child’s teacher if you have a filed legal document regarding custody arrangements for your child.\u00a0 If you have NEW documents or changes to existing agreements, please provide copies to the main office.\u00a0 If we do not have anything on file any parent\/guardian listed on Synergy may pick up their child from school.<\/p>\n
