Freedom High School senior Caleb Mims went where few Patriots boys basketball players have gone before this week.
The senior guard became the fourth player in program history to reach the 1,000-point plateau as Freedom defeated Bethlehem Catholic, 66-62, on Tuesday.
Mims entered the game needing 11 points and finished with 31. He added nine in a dismantling of Bangor (70-42) on Thursday and now sits at 1,029, which is fourth in program history.
