Dear JBES Families,
As we prepare for our Short-Term Remote Learning, please know how much we appreciate your assistance. We will do our best to provide a quality learning experience for our children. We need you to have your child participate in the synchronous learning as scheduled by your child’s teacher. It is imperative that your child attends the whole-group and small-group for both Math and Reading.
Related Arts, Science, Social Studies, and Leader in Me® will be held asynchronously. To best utilize our supports, the building schedule provides a framework from which teachers will schedule their classes.
Please refer to this section of Dr. Silva’s memo for additional information.
“Mondays and eClassroom will continue as before.
While recognizing that a “one size fits all” approach cannot address every situation, the
specific details of the Short Term Remote Learning Schedule below provide the framework for consistency and equity across our schools:
- Students who have been attending school in-person on Tuesdays and Thursdays will now have teacher-led instruction via Zoom (replacing in-person instruction) as scheduled by the Principal on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
- Students who have been working independently online on Wednesday and Fridays will continue to work independently on Wednesdays and Fridays to complete asynchronous online coursework.

If you have any needs, please let me know.
Wishing you and your families a safe and healthy Christmas Break.
We will do this Bulldogs!
