I am your child\u2019s school counselor.\u00a0 I am very excited to begin working with all of the wonderful students at James Buchanan Elementary School! \u00a0I have previously worked as a school counselor in the Catasauqua Area School District and the Salisbury Township School District and as a mentor for the Center for Humanistic Change.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Did you know that elementary counselors\u2026\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Teach classroom guidance lessons on a variety of topics?<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Meet with individual students as needed and maintain confidentiality?<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Meet with small groups of children with similar concerns?<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Consult with teachers and assist them in meeting individual student needs?<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Coordinate referrals to school and community agencies?<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Guidance services are available to all parents and guardians and their children. \u00a0Please feel free to call me if you have a concern or a question.
