Title I programs are designed to help children meet the state content and performance standards in reading, language arts, and mathematics.\u00a0Title I funding also provides for parent and family engagement in regular, two-way, and meaningful communication involving student academic learning and other school activities.<\/p>\n<p>JBES has allotted funding toward the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bulldog Bark Newsletter<\/li>\n<li>Getting Ready for Kindergarten Literacy Nights<\/li>\n<li>Character Counts Workshop by Cohesion<\/li>\n<li>Positive Parenting Workshop by Cohesion<\/li>\n<li>School supplies for all students<\/li>\n<li>Planners for grades 3,4,5<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We welcome suggestions on family engagement activities.
