For Rising 10th, 11th, & 12th Grade (Rising 9th Grade, see below)<\/b><\/p>\n

The information below will provide you all the tools needed to prepare for course selection for the 2026-2027 school year. This process will begin before Thanksgiving break, and continue through the month of December. The resources listed below will be reviewed, and should be used to prepare for this process!<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. BASD Program of Studies: <\/b>The POS is the list of all courses offered, and their descriptions. They are organized by department, and also by Career Pathway, and can be found at this link on the BASD Website: <\/span>https:\/\/basdwpweb.beth.k12.pa.us\/programofstudies\/<\/span><\/a><\/li>\n
  2. Elective Course Offerings 2026-2027<\/b><\/a>: <\/b>This sheet is a quick reference of electives listed by department, and should be used with the POS to support making decisions regarding course requests.<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Career Pathways Guidebook<\/b><\/a>:<\/b> This guidebook will help students navigate courses that are inline with their intended career pathways. Additionally, please visit the <\/span>Career Pathways Website<\/span><\/a> for additional resources and information created by our Career Pathways Liaison.<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Course Selection Newsletter<\/b><\/a>:<\/b> Attached here you will find the Course Selection Newsletter with relevant information about graduation requirements, SSCs, tutoring options, class advisors, dual enrollment, Naviance, community service, career planning, and much more!<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. Dual Enrollment Student Info Sheet<\/b><\/a>\u2013 This informational sheet briefly reviews dual enrollment opportunities for BASD students. We highly encourage students to pursue dual enrollment, and to continue to discuss options with their school counselors.<\/span><\/li>\n
  6. Bethlehem Area Vocational Technical School (BAVTS) Application<\/b>: <\/span>Please visit the BAVTS website<\/span><\/a> if you are interested in learning more and applying for one of their programs.
