Hello Liberty High School Community!<\/p>\n

It is an honor to serve as the Principal of Liberty High School and to return to a school and community that have shaped much of my 15 year professional journey.<\/p>\n

My career in education began in 2007 as a youth care worker at the Northampton County Juvenile Justice Center. That formative experience inspired me to become a teacher, and from 2010 to 2015, I taught high school social studies at the Roosevelt Campus of Norristown Area High School. In 2015, I joined the Liberty High School team as a special education teacher, co-teaching 9th and 10th grade Algebra. Those years gave me a deep appreciation for Liberty\u2019s tradition, diversity, and strong sense of community.<\/p>\n

In 2018, I moved into school leadership as an Assistant Principal at Nitschmann Middle School, where I had the privilege of supporting many future Hurricanes. Most recently, I served as Principal of Broughal Middle School for four years. I\u2019m thrilled to reconnect with many of my former students here at Liberty as they continue their journey in high school and beyond!<\/p>\n

As a building leader, my primary focus is on fostering focused learning and high-level instruction, ensuring the safety and security of all students and staff, and providing support for the whole child – academically, socially, and emotionally.<\/p>\n

Together with our dedicated staff and the Liberty community, I am committed to building on the school\u2019s proud legacy and helping every student thrive both in and out of the classroom.<\/p>\n

Es un honor ser directora de la Preparatoria Liberty y regresar a una escuela y comunidad que han marcado gran parte de mis 15 a\u00f1os de trayectoria profesional.<\/p>\n

Mi carrera en educaci\u00f3n comenz\u00f3 en 2007 como asistente social juvenil en el Centro de Justicia Juvenil del Condado de Northampton. Esa experiencia formativa me inspir\u00f3 a convertirme en maestra, y de 2010 a 2015 impart\u00ed estudios sociales en el Campus Roosevelt de la Preparatoria Norristown Area. En 2015, me un\u00ed al equipo de la Preparatoria Liberty como maestra de educaci\u00f3n especial, impartiendo clases conjuntas de \u00e1lgebra de 9.\u00ba y 10.\u00ba grado. Esos a\u00f1os me permitieron apreciar profundamente la tradici\u00f3n, la diversidad y el fuerte sentido de comunidad de Liberty.<\/p>\n

En 2018, me incorpor\u00e9 al liderazgo escolar como subdirectora de la Escuela Intermedia Nitschmann, donde tuve el privilegio de apoyar a muchos futuros huracanes. Recientemente, fui directora de la Escuela Intermedia Broughal durante cuatro a\u00f1os. Me emociona reencontrarme con muchos de mis antiguos alumnos aqu\u00ed en Liberty mientras contin\u00faan su camino en la preparatoria y m\u00e1s all\u00e1.<\/p>\n

Como l\u00edder de escuela, mi enfoque principal es fomentar un aprendizaje enfocado y una instrucci\u00f3n de alto nivel, garantizar la seguridad de todos los estudiantes y el personal, y brindar apoyo integral al ni\u00f1o: acad\u00e9mica, social y emocionalmente.<\/p>\n
