On Tuesday, May 23rd Liberty\u2019s French Club and members of Mrs. McKernan\u2019s French classes visited the Bethlehem Public Library to bring a touch of Paris for youngsters to enjoy.<\/p>\n

The French Club read Madeline in both French and English, had coloring stations where young visitors could color the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre. A Lego Effel Tower building competition was held; and the winners were presented with crowns. One of the students created a \u201cFun Facts about the Eiffel Tower\u201d poster as well. The French Club president made Madelines, a delicious butter cookie, and the Library supplied French Lu cookies, too. The last station was build your own “fortune tellers\/ French chatterbox,” these contained French and English greetings and salutations.<\/p>\n
