Moravian College, in conjunction with the Bethlehem Area School District, will be providing a four-year, full-tuition scholarship to Liberty High School senior Dennis Rosado. Rosado is the fourth recipient of the Moravian College Superintendent\u2019s Scholarship. <\/span><\/p>\n

In order to be eligible for the scholarship, the thirty-three student applicants must have attended the high school they are graduating from for at least two y\"\"<\/a>ears. Students were evaluated on their involvement with the high school and community and asked to write an essay detailing a significant challenge they had to overcome in their lives. Applications went through an administrative review team, and the selected student applications were reviewed by Bethlehem Area School District Superintendent Dr. Joseph Roy, and Moravian College Director of Recruitment, Alyson Remsing.<\/span><\/p>\n

On March 20, 2019, Senior Dennis Rosado was presented the Moravian College Superintendent\u2019s Scholarship. The award was presented by Bethlehem Area School DIstrict Superintendent, Dr. Joseph Roy and Moravian College President, Bryon Grigsby Rosado, the first male from Liberty High School to receive this scholarship. This student represents the image of scholarship that both the Bethlehem Area School District as well as Moravian College wish to promote. <\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>\u201cIt was quite an honor to be chosen for this award,\u201d Rosado said of his achievement after being presented with the award. Present for the presentation of the scholarship were Rosado\u2019s family, friends, along with faculty and staff who had a large impact upon his high school career. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
