Welcome to Lincoln Elementary School, home of the lions where the staff are inspiring lifelong learners and leaders one person at a time!<\/p>\n

We are thrilled that you stopped by to view our website! \u00a0It is a tool to keep you informed and assist you in learning about the different programs and initiatives we offer at our school. \u00a0Partnering with you is important to us. \u00a0We welcome and invite you to become involved and participate in our school community. \u00a0\u00a0Research clearly supports that when families are involved in their child\u2019s education, there is a greater likelihood of academic success for the child (Nokali, Bachman, & Votruba-Drzal, 2010).<\/i><\/p>\n

<\/i>Lincoln is a Leader In Me School. \u00a0\u00a0We use the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen R. Covey, as our operating system. \u00a0We are all leaders! \u00a0\u201cLeadership is a choice, not a position.\u201d \u00a0We pride ourselves in teaching leadership habits to our students (staff \u00a0& families) that will not only help them be successful academically but socially as well.<\/p>\n

Be proactive and join us as we follow our district\u2019s Roadmap to Educational Excellence<\/a>! \u00a0On our journey together, our goal is to educate the \u201cwhole\u201d child by focusing on Core Learning (Reading, Writing, Mathematics, Social Studies & Science), Stretch Learning (meeting students where they are academically \u00a0& socially and taking them to the next level), Student Engagement (leadership roles, extra-curricular activities), and Personal Skill Development (developing personal skills through the use of the 7 Habits).<\/p>\n
