Nitschmann Middle School Ski/ Snowboard Club 2017

The Nitschmann Middle School Ski/Snowboard Club will take place on the following Mondays:

1/9/17, 1/23/17, 1/30/17, 2/6/17, 2/13/17, 2/27/17

Bus transportation is not available. Please consider carpooling to Blue Mt. There will be a Nitschmann staff member (Mr. Downey, Mr. Durante and Mrs. Ellis) at the mountain to oversee the club.

In the event that B.A.S.D. is closed or has an early dismissal due to inclement weather, our club night will be postponed. We will send out text message updates as well (see back page).

You must sign up on the portal website by Oct. 30 to receive 6 visits for the prices above. After November 1 you may sign up, but you will only obtain 5 visits (prices remain the same)!!!

General Ski Club Information:

If school is cancelled or we have an early dismissal, we will postpone ski club.

The passes are good Mon.-Thurs.

Blue Mt. hours for night skiing 4-10 (All students will be off the Mt. by 9! )

Mr. Downey and Mr. Durante will meet members at 5-5:30 in the Base lodge to help with ski rentals.

Lessons will begin at 6 (if you choose to take lessons). Be at the learning center hill at 5:50! Mr. Downey and Mr. Durante will be in the lodge to help you get where you need to be at 5:45. We advise all students who have skied or snowboarded 3 times or less to take lessons.

All students will check in by 5:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. in the Base Lodge to meet up with your “ski buddies”. We want Nitschmann to stick together and ski safely.   We will be located by the Lower lodge counter with a pink sign. Hot COCOA is available most nights!!

You are responsible for your pass. If you lose it, you are responsible for the $10 replacement cost. Do not put pass next to your phone!!

Check your skis or board each time you come in to the lodge! Lockers are available at the mountain. Small lockers are $3, and medium lockers are $6 with unlimited access
