Dear Nitschmann Middle School Parents & Guardians,
Our faculty is looking forward to you and your child attending Fall Conferences on Monday, November 19 (5pm-8pm) or Tuesday, November 20 (12:15pm-3:15pm). Your child needs to attend the Student Conference in order to showcase their work from the 1st Quarter. For Fall Conferences, we require students and parents to attend the student presentation at school so that faculty can be present to assist & provide feedback. This is a critical part of our Leader in Me implementation for students to take the lead on their conferences.
Fall Student Conferences at Nitschmann Middle School are held in your child’s core classrooms with your child taking the lead and presenting their work over the 1st Quarter. The team of core teachers will join you and your child to help provide additional feedback to your child’s presentation.
In addition, all encore teachers are available throughout conferences to meet with you & your child as needed. There is no need to schedule a drop-in appointment with them through this system. However, sending them an email can be helpful so they know to expect you! You can find their emails on our school website.

At Nitschmann Middle School, 1st Quarter Report Cards are mailed home to all families to arrive on Tuesday, November 13, 2018. Please make sure your home address, emails, and phone numbers are up-to-date on the BASD Registration Gateway.

- Don’t forget that our Nitschmann Parent Group will be holding our annual Holiday Extravaganza in the cafeteria on Monday, November 20th from 5pm to 9pm during Fall Student Conferences. You will find holiday crafts, food, our school Book Fair, the Lion’s Den School Store, and special performances by students!
