Transition Meetings (Mayes) All grade 5 elementary families are welcome to join us for our kickoff of your transition meetings to Nitschmann Middle School. We will be reviewing the overall plan, classes & activities, and answering all of your questions. In addition, we will have a tour of the school to help you and your child feel welcome in their new school! Please plan to attend any one of the three meetings (1/9 @ 7pm, 1/16 @ 7pm, 1/17 @ 9am)
Elementary Visits by Nitschmann (Mayes) Our Nitschmann Middle School team will visit your child’s elementary school on the following dates to prepare for the transition, speak to 5th grade students, and talk with your child’s principal, guidance counselor, and teachers. Elementary Band Tryouts for NMS Band (Zettlemoyer) All grade 5 elementary students who want to try out for the Nitschmann Band will audition for Mr. Zettlemoyer in May, 2019 at their elementary school. A schedule will be posted prior to May.
