Grade 8 Transition Information from Nitschmann Middle School to Liberty High School
1/8 LHS Band & Orchestra Auditions; 1/11 Team NCC Visit to BAVTS; 1/22 Team ESU Visit to BAVTS; 1/23 9th Grade Orientation Meeting @ LHS 7pm; 1/24 & 29 LHS Scheduling in School; 3/4 Mr. Bailey Visit to Nitschmann Middle School; 3/4 Mr. Bailey Visit Parent Meeting 7pm Library; 3/18 NMS Student Shadow Visit to LHS;
8th Grade Visit to BAVTS (Litak) All 8th graders will be visiting the Bethlehem Area Vocational Technical School on 1/11 (Team NCC) or 1/22 (Team ESU) to see opportunities for them during their high school career.
8th Grader Student Scheduling (Bailey) Our LHS Counselors will be working with 8th graders at NMS in January & February in classes to help prepare for scheduling. Guidance Counselor Presentations are scheduled for Thursday 1/24/19 (snow date: TBD). Course Selection Completion is scheduled for Tuesday 1/29/19 (snow date: TBD).
1/23 Parent Meeting @ LHS (Bailey) Mr. Bailey will meet with all incoming 9th Grade families on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at 7pm at Liberty High School.
3/4 Parent Meeting @ NMS (Bailey) Mr. Bailey will meet with all NMS 8th grade parents & families on Monday, March 4, 2019 at 7pm in the Library.
