Attention All Grade Levels and Parents!!  We will soon be rolling out a new tool used elsewhere in the District to help with Career planning and College searches.  It is called Naviance. If you’ve had an older sibling at the High School, then you’ve probably heard of it. Watch your E-mail in upcoming weeks for an introduction to this very useful tool.

Student Services Updates

We are all doing our best to help teach our children personal responsibility. As such, we discourage parent drop-offs for items forgotten at home.  We do not wish to encourage nor foster a dependence. Calling a student out of class disrupts the educational flow and our children may miss crucial information or experiences.

Urgent!! Compared to previous years, our Children have been late to school significantly more frequent. Expect that students will be issued detentions for tardies past the 4th occurrence.  It is the student’s responsibility to reschedule any detentions that conflict with other obligations.

In an effort to reduce our excessive absent rate, expect that a parent will be required to attend a meeting to improve their student’s attendance.  Should unreasonable absences continue, we are now required by the state to take additional, more supportive steps to ensure that students attend.
