Dear Parents & Guardians,
Over the past few weeks, we have addressed several students who have texted their parents from school to come and pick them up due to illness.
If your child contacts you to pick your child up from school, you should call the school nurse, your child’s guidance counselor, a secretary, or Mr. Horlick, our assistant principal to find out what is going on and get some information with your child on the phone with the school nurse.
We have a full-time nurse or associate nurse on staff all day, every day, to assist students and parents with questions about helping students with illness and the rules we work under to have students released from school due to illness.
Students who text their parents from school to be picked up during school hours will be addressed under the Code of Conduct cell phone policy. Mr. Horlick addressed this with all students today.
