Mr. Daniel Zettlemoyer, Instrumental Music

Dear Parents, Guardians, and Students,

It has been an amazing and crazy year.  No one could have predicted this, including Hollywood, as you would have to combine movies to include everything that we have experienced over the past few months.  However, that has not stopped the music.  We innovatively found ways to continue our programs and deliver instruction.

As we begin our transition to the new school year, we will continue to innovate and adapt to our “new normal.” We have a new instrumental music administrative program that will provide us and you with improved flexibility and transparency as it pertains to your child’s involvement in the music program.  Delivery of instruction will expand digitally and include more synchronous learning as situations deem necessary.

I am excited and yes, a bit anxious, to begin in-person instruction. We all crave the personal interaction that is an inherent part of the music educational process. It will look and feel different, but we will adapt so we can provide meaningful musical experiences again.

I want to thank all of you for your patience, assistance and cooperation during the last few months.  I look forward to working alongside you and your children in summer music camp.  Until then, be safe and stay healthy.

Sincerely,

Mr. Zettlemoyer
