Nitschmann Middle School Weekly Update, Home of the Nitschmann Nation!

Sunday, May 16, 2021, to Sunday, May 23, 2021

  • End of Year Schedules!  The remaining four weeks of school schedules are posted below. Please update your calendars as we approach the last days of school on Thursday, June 10 (A-L) and Friday, June 11 (M-Z).

  • Masking Policy for students/staff/visitors will stay in place until June 11: We will continue to enforce the PA Department of Health order to maintain full masking for all people at school while on school property until the end of the school year on June 11, 2021. With the vaccination of students 12 and older in its first week, some middle school students will not be fully protected until well after the end of school. Therefore, we will maintain all protocols until school ends.

  • July Summer Programs! Nitschmann will be hosting several summer programs in July and August to help our students after this long school year. We will be hosting several week-long day camps between July 12 and 30, connected to our favorite activities, to help students reconnect with school for the 2021-2022 school year. We are waiting for final approval from BASD to launch our programs & sign-up links! Sorry for the delay!

  • SCHEDULE NOW! 2021-2022 Fall Sports Physicals: All BASD students in grades 7-12 MUST have a sports physical to participate in interscholastic sports. The first of St. Luke’s free sports physicals will be held at Municipal Ice Rink in Bethlehem followed by three events at Coca Cola Park.  (both sign up links below)

  • Summer Soccer Camp @ NMS: Does your child enjoy playing soccer? We strongly support our LHS Soccer Camp at Nitschmann Middle School this summer from June 21-24. See the link to sign up!

Team Lehigh (6th) (Twitter @NMSTeamLehigh/ Facebook @NitschmannTeamLehigh Team Leader Mrs. Oliver

The 4th marking period mid-quarter is here!!!  Are all your grades in good standing?  Are you happy with where you are at?  If so, congratulations and we thank you for all your hard work.  If not, log into schoology, check your grade report for missing assignments and/or assignments that need to be remediated, and take care of business.
