- Arrival at school We have seen a recent increase in students arriving late to school. The first bell rings at 8:05. Students are to be in their homerooms by 8:13. Students who are late will receive detention for being tardy to school. Students can come into school at 7:45 to eat breakfast at no cost to students
- AM Traffic & School Busses The most efficient way for our students to get to school each morning is by bus. If your child is eligible for bussing, we strongly recommend using the school bus for your child to arrive at school. The mornings continue to be overloaded with cars dropping off students who are eligible for bussing.
- Spring Sports Begins Monday All spring sports (Co-Ed Soccer, Girls Softball, Liberty Baseball) begin on Monday, March 7. School physicals or recertification forms are required.
- 3rd Q IPR All Interim Progress Reports were mailed and should be arriving at your homes shortly. This is a mid-quarter check up of all student grades for the quarter.

2022 PSSA Testing Dates Nitschmann Middle School will be giving the 2022 PSSA Exams on the following dates ELA 6th, 7th, & 8th ( 4/25, 4/26, 4/27) Math 6th, 7th, & 8th (5/2, 5/3) Science 8th Only (5/4, 5/5). Exams will be given each morning on the date listed, then classes return to normal schedule mid-morning after testing is complete. More information will be sent on or around April 1.
