<\/b>BASD PROUD:\u00a0We have decided to display BASD spirit across the Lehigh Valley with #BASDproud car magnets.\u00a0 Our goal is for parents, students, teachers and staff to make a visible statement of support by displaying the magnets on their cars.\u00a0Magnets can be purchased for $2 at the main office of each of our schools as well as at the Ed Center.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/b>AFTER SCHOOL VOCAL GROUPS: Rehearsals:<\/p>\n

MUSIC IN THE PARKS TRIP:\u00a0Music students who are participating in the Music in the Parks trip in June are to have their trip payment due on\u00a0October 19th.<\/p>\n

NEMS THEATRE COMPANY: The Northeast Middle School Theatre Company will be proudly presenting The Music Man Jr. If you are interested in being part of our show, please come to auditions on\u00a0Tuesday, October 25th\u00a0or\u00a0Wednesday, October 26th\u00a0from\u00a03:05 to 6 pm. Bring comfortable shoes, audition music and lines!!! Please see Miss Thomas or Mrs. Parker for audition music and lines or if you have any questions! See you there!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

DEBATE CLUB:\u00a0<\/span>The next Debate Club meeting will be\u00a0Tuesday, October 25th at 3:05 p.m. in room A105. It will be back to its normal day. Any new members are also welcome. Any questions please see Mr. Gross or Mrs. Schenk.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

POPCORN DAY:\u00a0Our first Popcorn Day of the school year will be this\u00a0Friday, October 21st during all school lunches. Please bring your Hornet Fives to lunch for popcorn and school supplies. You need 3 Hornet Fives for 1 bag of popcorn.<\/p>\n

PURPLE OUT:\u00a0<\/span>Tomorrow\u00a0October 20 is the Purple Out, to raise awareness of Domestic Violence and its affect on society, as well as many members of our student body, and staff. Please wear purple\u00a0tomorrow\u00a0to show your support for greater awareness, and the help available for those effected by Domestic Violence.\u00a0<\/span>Remember, if you, or someone you know is being abused, get help and break the cycle of violence.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

MATH NERDS:\u00a0<\/span>There will be a general interest meeting\u00a0today\u00a0after school in room A305 for anyone that is interested in joining Math Nerds this year.\u00a0 Permission slips will be given out at that time.\u00a0If you are unable to attend the meeting stop by either room A305 or B305 for a permission slip.<\/span><\/p>\n

WORLD LANGUAGE CLUB:\u00a0Attention World Language Club members: the next meeting is\u00a0tomorrow, October 20th, after school in room A103.<\/p>\n

NEWSPAPER CLUB<\/span>:\u00a0<\/span>The Newspaper Club will meet after school today in Ms. Troutman’s room A303. If you would like to submit your work for the first issue, see Ms. Troutman after school or during activity or send her an email. All submissions are due\u00a0Friday October 28th<\/span><\/p>\n

SPORTS:\u00a0<\/span>Attention 7th and 8th graders:\u00a0<\/span>If you are interested in trying out for the Boys Volleyball Team,\u00a0there will be an\u00a0INFORMATIONAL meeting on\u00a0Thursday, October 20th, at\u00a03:05\u00a0in C102 (the Health Classroom).\u00a0<\/span>Try outs will be held\u00a0Monday, October 24th.\u00a0Football Players, please see Mr. Gough if you are interested, he will have the information for you.\u00a0Any additional questions see Ms. Schaffrick.<\/span><\/p>\n

Attention 7th and 8th Graders:\u00a0Any 7th and 8th Graders interested in Boys or Girls Basketball please come to the Main gym at\u00a03:15pm\u00a0on\u00a0Wednesday 10\/19. It will be a short meeting about, tryout dates and get forms that MUST BE COMPLETED in order to tryout!\u00a0<\/span>Current Northeast Football Players, Ms. Schaffrick will come speak to you while you are in study hall on a different day! \u00a0Any questions ask Ms. Schaffrick.<\/span><\/p>\n

ART:\u00a0<\/span>Could any 8th grade student from Mrs. Korhammer’s 1st rotation that has a finished clay project, please pick it up in her room.<\/span><\/p>\n
