INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC STUDENTS:\u00a0There are no instrumental lessons or jazz ensemble todaY.<\/p>\n

<\/b>BASD PROUD:\u00a0We have decided to display BASD spirit across the Lehigh Valley with #BASDproud car magnets.\u00a0 Our goal is for parents, students, teachers and staff to make a visible statement of support by displaying the magnets on their cars.\u00a0Magnets can be purchased for $2 at the main office of each of our schools as well as at the Ed Center.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/b>AFTER SCHOOL VOCAL GROUPS: Rehearsals:<\/p>\n

*Thurs, Oct 20 Rally 4 Peace rehearsal 3:10-3:45pm<\/span><\/p>\n

*Fri, Oct 21 Rehearsal for “A Noun’s a Person, Place, or Thing from\u00a03:10-3:45pm<\/span><\/p>\n

NEMS THEATRE COMPANY:\u00a0Friday\u00a0there will be stage crew sign ups for this years play production in Mrs. Klose’s art room immediately after school at\u00a03:05\u00a0for 7th and 8th grade students.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Northeast Middle School Theatre Company will be proudly presenting The Music Man Jr. If you are interested in being part of our show, please come to auditions on\u00a0Tuesday, October 25th\u00a0or\u00a0Wednesday, October 26th\u00a0from\u00a03:05 to 6 pm. Bring comfortable shoes, audition music and lines!!! Please see Miss Thomas or Mrs. Parker for audition music and lines or if you have any questions! See you there!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

DEBATE CLUB:\u00a0<\/span>The next Debate Club meeting will be\u00a0Tuesday, October 25th at 3:05 p.m. in room A105. It will be back to its normal day. Any new members are also welcome. Any questions please see Mr. Gross or Mrs. Schenk.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

VOTECH:\u00a0<\/span>There will be a votech Open House on\u00a0Oct. 25th\u00a06:30 p.m. –\u00a08:30 p.m.\u00a0Our students are all invited.<\/span><\/p>\n

POPCORN DAY:\u00a0Our first Popcorn Day of the school year will be this\u00a0Friday, October 21st during all school lunches. Please bring your Hornet Fives to lunch for popcorn and school supplies. You need 3 Hornet Fives for 1 bag of popcorn.<\/p>\n

PURPLE OUT:\u00a0<\/span>Today is the Purple Out, to raise awareness of Domestic Violence and its affect on society, as well as many members of our student body, and staff. Please wear purple today to show your support for greater awareness, and the help available for those effected by Domestic Violence.\u00a0<\/span>Remember, if you, or someone you know is being abused, get help and break the cycle of violence. There will be “I’m taking a stand” posters to fill out at your lunch period.<\/span><\/p>\n

BAND PRACTICE:\u00a0<\/span>Attention all band students: Band Practice\u00a0tonight\u00a0at Liberty is from\u00a06 to 8pm. Please note the time change.\u00a0 Remember to bring your instrument home after school today.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

WORLD LANGUAGE CLUB:\u00a0Attention World Language Club members: the next meeting is\u00a0today, October 20th, after school in room A103.<\/p>\n

MATH NERDS:\u00a0<\/span>Do you enjoy brainteasers?\u00a0 Would you like to make words like quirkle, rebus, saduko, q-bits and swish part of your every day conversations?\u00a0<\/span>Then join math nerds and brain bashers.\u00a0 Math Nerds and Brain Bashers is an interactive club that meets every\u00a0Wednesday\u00a0from\u00a03:05-4:25\u00a0in Room A305.<\/span><\/p>\n

Permission slips are available in the folders on our posters hanging on every floor or by coming to see either Mrs. Papagni in B305 or Mrs. Shive in A305.\u00a0 Join math nerds where we make it totes cool to be a nerd!<\/span><\/p>\n

SPORTS:\u00a0<\/span>Attention 7th and 8th graders:\u00a0<\/span>If you are interested in trying out for the Boys Volleyball Team,\u00a0there will be an\u00a0INFORMATIONAL meeting today Thursday, October 20th, at\u00a03:05\u00a0in C102 (the Health Classroom).\u00a0<\/span>Try outs will be held\u00a0Monday, October 24th.\u00a0Football Players, please see Mr. Gough if you are interested, he will have the information for you.\u00a0Any additional questions see Ms. Schaffrick.<\/p>\n
