<\/b>BASD PROUD:\u00a0We have decided to display BASD spirit across the Lehigh Valley with #BASDproud car magnets.\u00a0 Our goal is for parents, students, teachers and staff to make a visible statement of support by displaying the magnets on their cars.\u00a0Magnets can be purchased for $2 at the main office of each of our schools as well as at the Ed Center.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Mon.-Thurs., Oct. 24-27 Boys Group\/Girls Group\/NE Singers will not meet during this week.<\/p>\n

Northeast Singers students who are not instrumentalists are to pick up their fundraising information from Mrs. Parker ASAP.\u00a0 This fundraising will help towards this year’s Music in the Parks competition.<\/p>\n

NEMS THEATRE COMPANY: Today, Friday, there will be stage crew sign ups for this years play production in Mrs. Klose’s art room immediately after school at 3:05 for 7th and 8th grade students.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Tuesday, October 25, and\u00a0Wednesday, October 26, 2016\u00a0\u2013 Auditions for the musical “The Music Man Jr.” Auditions will take place each day from 3:10-6:00pm.<\/span><\/p>\n

DEBATE CLUB:\u00a0<\/span>The next Debate Club meeting will be\u00a0Tuesday, October 25th at 3:05 p.m. in room A105. It will be back to its normal day. Any new members are also welcome. Any questions please see Mr. Gross or Mrs. Schenk.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

VOTECH:\u00a0<\/span>There will be a votech Open House on\u00a0Oct. 25th\u00a06:30 p.m. –\u00a08:30 p.m.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

POPCORN DAY:\u00a0Our first Popcorn Day of the school year will be today, October 21st during all school lunches. Please bring your Hornet Fives to lunch for popcorn and school supplies. You need 3 Hornet Fives for 1 bag of popcorn.<\/p>\n

MATH NERDS:\u00a0<\/span>Do you enjoy brainteasers?\u00a0 Would you like to make words like quirkle, rebus, saduko, q-bits and swish part of your every day conversations?<\/span><\/p>\n

Then join math nerds and brain bashers.\u00a0 Math Nerds and Brain Bashers is an interactive club that meets every Wednesday from\u00a03:05-4:25\u00a0in Room A305.<\/span><\/p>\n

Permission slips are available in the folders on our posters hanging on every floor or by coming to see either Mrs. Papagni in B305 or Mrs. Shive in A305.\u00a0 Join math nerds where we make it totes cool to be a nerd!<\/span><\/p>\n

ART:\u00a0<\/span>Could any 8th grade student from Mrs. Korhammer’s 1st rotation that has a <\/span>finished clay project, please pick it up in her room.<\/span><\/p>\n

KNITTING CLUB:\u00a0<\/span>First session for Knitting Club is\u00a0Tuesday, October 25th\u00a0in room A203 from\u00a03:05-4:05pm.\u00a0 Those students that are purchasing their own yarn make sure you bring it\u00a0on Tuesday.\u00a0 See you all then.<\/span><\/p>\n

SPORTS:\u00a0<\/span>The girls and boys cross-country team had their last meet yesterday at the Hurricane Invitational.\u00a0\u00a0Everyone raced awesome yesterday and improved greatly throughout the season!\u00a0 Remember to return your washed uniform\u00a0on Monday\u00a0at our cross-country celebration party in Mrs. Klose’s room.\u00a0 See all you returning and new runners\u00a0next year!<\/span><\/p>\n

THOUGHT OF THE DAY:\u00a0<\/span>This morning, I want you to take a moment to imagine a pond full of perfectly still, glassy water. Now imagine that you throw a pebble into the center of the pond. What happens? The rock creates tiny waves that ripple out into bigger and bigger circles.<\/p>\n
