Money will not be left on the table.<\/p>\n<p>BOXTOPS Want to help our school raise money? Please bring in boxtops for\u00a0education. Boxtops can be found on so many items! Simply cut them off and bring them to your homeroom teacher. Homeroom teachers can then send them to Mrs. Swavely or Mrs. Braido and student council will take care of the rest.<\/p>\n<p><u><\/u>DISMISSAL: Students please note that you are not permitted to remain in the building after dismissal unless you are involved in an activity. If you are waiting for a friend, please wait outside of the building.<\/p>\n<p>SAFE TO TELL: It&#8217;s SAFE to Tell.&#8221; The SAFE Team exists to help students with problems in a confidential manner\u00a0to help remove any and all barriers\u00a0to education.\u00a0 You can refer your friends or yourself.\u00a0 Just fill out the SAFE to Tell form which you can find in your homeroom, Student Services, the Library and the Main Office and drop the form in the SAFE Box or give it to your homeroom teacher who will deposit the form for you.\u00a0 Don&#8217;t worry, &#8220;It&#8217;s Safe To Tell.<\/p>\n<p>BASD PROUD: We have decided to display BASD spirit across the Lehigh Valley with #BASDproud car magnets.\u00a0 Our goal is for parents, students, teachers and staff to make a visible statement of support by displaying the magnets on their cars.\u00a0Magnets can be purchased for $2 at the main office of each of our schools as well as at the Ed Center.<\/p>\n<p>ART: All 8th graders who still have not picked up their paper mache shark from Mrs. Klose&#8217;s art room, please do so this week. Thanks to all of you who stopped by for them yesterday afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>STEP TEAM:Step team will practice on every Tuesday and Thursday from\u00a03:05-4:15pm. Remember boots or sneakers and your permission form.<\/p>\n<p>MUSIC IN THE PARKS TRIP: Northeast Singers students who are not instrumentalists are to pick up their fundraising information from Mrs. Parker ASAP.\u00a0 This fundraising will help towards this year&#8217;s Music in the Parks competition.<\/p>\n<p>SALUTE THE TROOPS CONCERT: All NE Singers, Boys Group, Girls Group, and instrumental students performing in the Salute the Troops Concert on\u00a0November 13th\u00a0are reminded to pick up a ticket order form ASAP.\u00a0 The ticket order form, paid with cash only, please, is due on\u00a0November 3rd. Our reduced price is $5 per ticket.\u00a0 If you purchase these tickets at the door the day of the concert, they will be $10.\u00a0 Don&#8217;t forget to get your order form submitted!\u00a0 See either Mr. Rupnik or Mrs. Parker with any questions.<\/p>\n<p>NEMS THEATRE COMPANY: Congratulations and thanks to the 80 students who auditioned for this year&#8217;s musical Music Man Jr.\u00a0 Your talents make us all Northeast Proud!\u00a0 Our first rehearsal will be on\u00a0Monday, October 31st\u00a0from\u00a03:10 until 5:30\u00a0in the chorus room. This will be a read through of the entire musical&#8230;see you then!<\/p>\n<p>*Friday, November 4th\u00a0&#8211; rehearsal of the song &#8220;Rock Island&#8221; from\u00a0<em>Music Man Jr<\/em>. Students who are in that song are to rehearse from\u00a03:10-3:45\u00a0in the chorus room.<\/p>\n<p>AFTER SCHOOL VOCAL GROUPS:<\/p>\n<p>*Tuesday, November 1st\u00a0&#8211; NE Singers &#8211; girls from\u00a03:10-4:00<\/p>\n<p>*Wednesday, November 2nd\u00a0&#8211; NE Singers &#8211; boys from\u00a03:10-4:00<\/p>\n<p>*Thursday, November 3rd<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>&#8211; Boys Group\/Girls Group from\u00a03:10-4:00\u00a0and\u00a0<em>NE Singers &#8211; all from\u00a04:00-4:30\u00a0in preparation for\u00a0this Saturday&#8217;s\u00a0LHS Benefit concert &#8211; this is an added rehearsal for NE Singers- thank you for your flexibility.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Saturday, November 5th &#8211; report time for NE Singers and Jazz Ensemble to be announced for the Liberty High School Hawaii Benefit Concert at 7 PM on Saturday, November 5th.<\/p>\n<p>MATH NERDS: Do you enjoy brainteasers?\u00a0 Would you like to make words like quirkle, rebus, saduko, q-bits and swish part of your every day conversations?\u00a0Then join math nerds and brain bashers.\u00a0 Math Nerds and Brain Bashers is an interactive club that meets every Wednesday\u00a0from\u00a03:05-4:25pm\u00a0in Room A305.<\/p>\n<p>NEWSPAPER CLUB: All submissions for the first issue of the newspaper will be due on\u00a0Friday November 4th.
