<\/b><\/b>MUSIC IN THE PARKS TRIP:\u00a0Northeast Singers students who are not instrumentalists are to pick up their fundraising information from Mrs. Parker ASAP.\u00a0 This fundraising will help towards this year’s Music in the Parks competition.<\/span><\/p>\n

SALUTE THE TROOPS CONCERT: All NE Singers, Boys Group, Girls Group, and instrumental students performing in the Salute the Troops Concert on\u00a0November 13th\u00a0are reminded to pick up a ticket order form ASAP.\u00a0 The ticket order form, paid with cash only, please, is due on\u00a0November 3rd. Our reduced price is $5 per ticket.\u00a0 If you purchase these tickets at the door the day of the concert, they will be $10.\u00a0 Don’t forget to get your order form submitted!\u00a0 See either Mr. Rupnik or Mrs. Parker with any questions. <\/span><\/p>\n

AFTER SCHOOL VOCAL GROUPS: Rehearsals:<\/p>\n

Today, November 1st\u00a0– NE Singers –\u00a0<\/span>all<\/em>\u00a0from\u00a03:10-4:00\u00a0(this is a change from last Friday’s announced schedule – thank you for your flexibility, NE Singers – this is in preparation for our LHS Benefit Concert performance)<\/span><\/p>\n

*Tomorrow,\u00a0November 2nd\u00a0– NE Singers –\u00a0all<\/em>\u00a0from\u00a03:10-4:00\u00a0(this is, again, a change from last week – thank you for your flexibility)<\/span><\/p>\n

*Thursday, November 3rd\u00a0<\/b>– Boys Group\/Girls Group from\u00a03:10-4:00\u00a0– we will be running our music for the Salute the Troops Concert<\/span><\/p>\n

*Saturday, November 5th\u00a0– report time for NE Singers and Jazz Ensemble\u00a0to be announced\u00a0for the Liberty High School Hawaii Benefit Concert at\u00a07 PM\u00a0onSaturday, November 5th.<\/span><\/p>\n

NEMS THEATRE COMPANY:\u00a0Friday, November 4th\u00a0– rehearsal of the song “Rock Island” from\u00a0Music Man Jr<\/i>. Students who are in that song are to rehearse from\u00a03:10-3:45\u00a0in the chorus room.<\/p>\n

MATH NERDS:\u00a0<\/span>Do you enjoy brainteasers?\u00a0 Would you like to make words like quirkle, rebus, saduko, q-bits and swish part of your every day conversations?\u00a0<\/span>Then join math nerds and brain bashers.\u00a0 Math Nerds and Brain Bashers is an interactive club that meets every Wednesday\u00a0from\u00a03:05-4:25pm\u00a0in Room A305.<\/span><\/p>\n

NEWSPAPER CLUB:\u00a0<\/span>All submissions for the first issue of the newspaper will be due on\u00a0Friday November 4th. Please email or see Ms. Troutman in A303 for more information or if you have any questions.”<\/span><\/p>\n

SPORTS:\u00a0<\/span>Cross Country runners who have yet to hand in uniform should return it to Miss Ayre\u2019s room A203 asap.<\/span><\/p>\n

* Any field hockey or volleyball player that has not returned their uniform please bring it to Ms. Shive’s, A305 as soon as possible.<\/span><\/p>\n

* \u00a0St. Luke’s Middle School Fitness Program sign up sheets are in the main office and student services.\u00a0 The Kick Off Meeting will be\u00a0tomorrow,\u00a0November 2nd\u00a0after school in the cafeteria.\u00a0 If you like kickball and ultimate frisbee, this program is for you.<\/p>\n

* Free physicals for winter sports will be given at Freedom High School tomorrow, November 2nd\u00a0from\u00a05 – 7:30 PM, and at Liberty High School on Thursday, November 3rd from\u00a05 – 7:30 PM.\u00a0 Get a physical packet from a basketball coach or the main office before you go.\u00a0 You may not try out without a physical.<\/p>\n

BOYS BASKETBALL: There will be an open gym for the 8th grade boys basketball ONLY this\u00a0Friday, 11\/4\u00a0from\u00a03:15-4:30pm.\u00a0 This is for 8th grade only.\u00a0 A 7th grade open gym will be announced the following week.\u00a0 See Coach Carlstrom in room D106 if you have any questions.<\/p>\n

SCHOOL SPIRIT WEEK: With the night football game rapidly approaching, it only means one thing, “Spirit Week!” \u00a0Spirit Week will take place next week!\u00a0 The following are the special days:<\/span><\/p>\n

-Today\u00a0– Sport Team Day – show your team colors whether it is a middle school, high school, college or pro team, get out your gear!<\/span><\/p>\n

-Wednesday\u00a0– back by popular demand Pajama Day!\u00a0 Wear your favorite pajamas, but don’t fall asleep in class!<\/span><\/p>\n

-Thursday\u00a0– Green and White Day to support our team, cheerleaders, band, auxiliary marching unit and fans!<\/span><\/p>\n

Good luck to our NEMS Hornets as they perform at the football game\u00a0on Thursday!\u00a0 Get out and support our team and performers!<\/p>\n

Don’t be left out, get involved!<\/span><\/p>\n

STUDENT LEADERSHIP COUNCIL:\u00a0<\/span>Student Leadership Council sends A HUGE thank you to everyone who helped out with the fundraiser for Pediatric Cancer!\u00a0 The winner of the Wawa gift card\u00a0for best teacher costume goes to\u2026\u2026. Mr. Fanger aka. THE FANG!!!!!\u00a0 Hopefully we can use this as a starting point and make it bigger and better each year.
