<\/b>WORLD LANGUAGE CLUB:\u00a0<\/span>Meeting today Nov 10<\/span>th<\/span> & Friday Nov 11<\/span>th<\/span> in the Auditorium at\u00a03:05-4:25pm. See Mrs. Johnson, Miss Thomas, or Miss Danner with questions! \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

WORLD PERCUSSION:\u00a0<\/span>There is practice\u00a0today Nov 10<\/span>th<\/span> after school. The concert is\u00a0in one month!<\/span><\/p>\n

MATH NERDS:\u00a0<\/span>Be a nerd and join us in room A305 on Fridays.<\/span><\/p>\n

ROBOTICS CLUB:\u00a0<\/span>There will be a general interest meeting this\u00a0Monday November 14th\u00a0for any student interested in joining robotics club.\u00a0 Permission slips will be given out at the November 14th meeting.\u00a0 \u00a0Robotics club will meet on Thursdays from 3:05-5pm starting on November 17th.\u00a0 Space is extremely limited and permission slips will only be given out at\u00a0Monday\u2019s\u00a0meeting.\u00a0 Please see Mr. Patterson or Mrs. Papagni if you have any questions regarding the club.<\/span><\/p>\n

NEMS THEATRE COMPANY:\u00a0Attention all stage crew students: there will be a crew meeting\u00a0this Thursday immediately after school, lasting until about\u00a03:30\u00a0in Mrs. Klose’s art room. Please attend in order to get things underway.<\/p>\n

NEMS THEATRE COMPANY: Saturday 11\/19 rehearsal: Cast of Music Man Jr…mark your calendars…we will have our first\u00a0Saturday rehearsal on\u00a0November 19th.\u00a0 We will approach the rehearsal time differently, so, please mark your planners accordingly:<\/p>\n

From\u00a09-10 AM\u00a0we will work with people in\u00a0Scene 1 (pages 1-9 of the script) and Scene 4 (pages 27-37 of the script)<\/p>\n

BOOK FAIR:\u00a0<\/span>The Book Fair is back. You will be able to check it out and make purchases starting\u00a0Monday November 14th\u00a0through student led conferences until\u00a0Tuesday November 22nd\u00a0in Mrs. Roehrenbeck’s room A300. Stay tuned for a closer look at the titles and more information about our upcoming book fair!<\/span><\/p>\n

RALLY 4 PEACE:\u00a0<\/span>Many of our Northeast students created pavers for the International Day of Peace. We haven’t forgotten to select some saying to have engraved on real pavers. Our Rally 4 Peace participants are busy creating their presentations\u00a0and will be part of the selection committee once their work is completed. Our plan is to announce the selected slogans in January, during the Week of Peace. We apologize for not clarifying this earlier.<\/span><\/p>\n

SPORTS:\u00a0<\/span>Wrestling practices start\u00a0Friday Nov. 18<\/span>th<\/span> at Liberty HS. <\/span><\/p>\n

GIRLS BASKETBALL: Attention 7th and 8th grade GIRLS interested in trying out for the Girls Basketball Team, there will be Open Gym opportunities today from 3:15-4:15pm\u00a0(Auxiliary Gym) and tomorrow Nov 11th\u00a0from\u00a03:15-4:15\u00a0(Main Gym). This is your chance to dust off the cobwebs and prep your skills for tryouts!!\u00a0<\/span>REMINDER: make sure you have physicals and forms COMPLETELY filled out and returned to Ms. Schaffrick… YOU WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO TRYOUT if you do NOT turn in the forms!\u00a0<\/span>Please see Ms. Schaffrick if you have any questions!<\/span><\/p>\n

STUDENT LEADERSHIP COUNCIL:\u00a0<\/span>Box-Tops are still being collected and Student Leadership will be having a raffle starting today through Christmas. To be able to enter the drawing, you need to bring in a complete sheet or bag of 50 Box-Tops. Don\u2019t forget to put your name on the bag or sheet. Remember, the Box-Tops shouldn\u2019t be stapled or taped on the back of the sheet. Also, hand in bonus Box-Tops in a separate bag. Thank you\u00a0from Student Leadership.<\/span><\/p>\n

THANKSGIVING COLLECTION:\u00a0<\/span>Each year Student Leadership, the counselors, and the office staff work together to gather food items to supply families here with a complete holiday dinner.\u00a0 Our collection will run\u00a0Monday\u00a0until\u00a0November 18th.\u00a0\u00a0Every homeroom that has a completed basket will be entered into a drawing for a prize.\u00a0 Remember, all completed baskets go directly back to our students and families here at Northeast.\u00a0<\/span>Please encourage your homeroom to contribute, and feel free to reward them with hornet 5\u2019s!\u00a0<\/span>Any extra canned goods collected will be donated to the local food bank. I\u2019ll be dropping off collection boxes to each homeroom this week. THANK YOU See Swavely, Braido or Nehilla with questions.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

ARCHERY:\u00a0<\/span>Pizza party for all three teams today the 10th\u00a0right after school in Mrs. Shive\u2019s room A305.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

FITNESS PROGRAM:\u00a0<\/span>The St. Luke’s after school fitness program will be having a kickball game after school today.\u00a0 Report to the gym at\u00a03:05.\u00a0 You must have a signed intramural form in order to participate.<\/span><\/p>\n

PICTURE RETAKE:\u00a0<\/span>Picture retakes are scheduled for tomorrow morning, November 11, 2016.\u00a0Retakes will be for students and staff members that were\u00a0absent on picture day or\u00a0for those that are\u00a0not happy with their picture package.\u00a0 If you are retaking your picture to\u00a0replace your\u00a0original picture\u00a0package, please make sure\u00a0to bring with you on\u00a0Friday, Nov 11<\/span>th<\/span> the original picture package you would like replaced.\u00a0<\/span>Should you have any questions or need an order form, please see Ms. Osorio in Student Services.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
