SPORTS:\u00a0<\/span>Wrestling practices start\u00a0Friday Nov. 18<\/span>th<\/span> at Liberty HS. <\/span><\/p>\n

RALLY FOR PEACE:\u00a0<\/span>All Rally For Peace meetings will now be held in Miss Doncsecz room A206.\u00a0 See you there!<\/span><\/p>\n

ARCHERY:\u00a0<\/span>If you weren\u2019t at the pizza party and did not receive your half pound please come by Mrs. Papagni\u2019s room to pick it up.\u00a0 Also a really nice black jacket was left at the pizza party.\u00a0 Please pick up the jacket in Mrs. Shive\u2019s room.<\/span><\/p>\n

NEWSPAPER CLUB:\u00a0<\/span>There will be no School Newspaper Club meeting today after school. The next Newspaper Club meeting will be after Thanksgiving break on\u00a0December 7th. See Ms. Troutman in A303 for more information.<\/span><\/p>\n

ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE CLUB:\u00a0Could you survive a zombie apocalypse?\u00a0 There is only one-way to find out – join the survive the zombie apocalypse club.\u00a0<\/span>We will be holding a general interest meeting on\u00a0Wednesday 11\/30\u00a0in room A305.\u00a0 Permission slips and information will be given out at the meeting.\u00a0 The club will be held on Tuesdays starting\u00a0December 6<\/span>th<\/span> from\u00a03:05-4:25pm.\u00a0 Those who arrive survive. \u00a0See Mrs. Papagni or Mr. Speaker if you have any questions.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

BOOK FAIR:\u00a0<\/span>The Book Fair is back. You will be able to check it out and make purchases now\u00a0through student led conferences until\u00a0Tuesday November 22nd\u00a0in Mrs. Roehrenbeck’s room A300. Stay tuned for a closer look at the titles and more information about our upcoming book fair!<\/span><\/p>\n

ROBOTICS CLUB:\u00a0<\/span>There is still space available in the Robotics Club.\u00a0 If you missed the interest meeting but would still like to join robotics please see Mrs. Papagni in B305 or Mr. Patterson in A309 for a permission slip.\u00a0 Robotics will meet on Thursdays from\u00a03:05-5pm. Come build robots with us.<\/span><\/p>\n

STUDENT LEADERSHIP COUNCIL:\u00a0<\/span>Box-Tops are still being collected and Student Leadership will be having a raffle through Christmas. To be able to enter the drawing, you need to bring in a complete sheet or bag of 50 Box-Tops. Don\u2019t forget to put your name on the bag or sheet. Remember, the Box-Tops shouldn\u2019t be stapled or taped on the back of the sheet. Also, hand in bonus Box-Tops in a separate bag. Thank you\u00a0from Student Leadership.<\/span><\/p>\n

RALLY 4 PEACE:\u00a0<\/span>Many of our Northeast students created pavers for the International Day of Peace. We haven’t forgotten to select some saying to have engraved on real pavers. Our Rally 4 Peace participants are busy creating their presentations\u00a0and will be part of the selection committee once their work is completed. Our plan is to announce the selected slogans in January, during the Week of Peace. We apologize for not clarifying this earlier.<\/span><\/p>\n

KEEPING KIDS WARM:\u00a0Through November 21st, the Bethlehem Police\u00a0Dept\u00a0will be collecting new and gently used Coats.\u00a0 The donated coats will be distributed to students at Northeast Middle School and the Bethlehem Area School District.\u00a0 People who wish to donate coats can bring them to Student Services.\u00a0Distribution of the coats will take place on Nov 21st and 22nd during parent\/teacher conference. Anybody who is in need of a coat please contact your guidance counselor.<\/p>\n

THANKSGIVING COLLECTION:\u00a0<\/span>Each year Student Leadership, the counselors, and the office staff work together to gather food items to supply families here with a complete holiday dinner.\u00a0 Our collection will \u00a0run Monday until November 18th.\u00a0\u00a0Every homeroom that has a completed basket will be entered into a drawing for a prize.\u00a0 Remember, all completed baskets go directly back to our students and families here at Northeast.\u00a0<\/span>Please encourage your homeroom to contribute, and feel free to reward them with hornet 5\u2019s!\u00a0Any extra canned goods collected will be donated to the local food bank. I\u2019ll be dropping off collection boxes to each homeroom this week. THANK YOU See Swavely, Braido or Nehilla with questions.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
