NEMS THEATRE COMPANY: Rehearsals:\u00a0Welcome back to school, everyone!\u00a0 As we get ready to prepare for many upcoming performances, please note the rehearsal schedule for this week…bring your materials, a pencil, and your ENERGY!\u00a0 Can’t wait to see you!<\/span><\/p>\n

*Sat, Jan 7 – Music Man Jr. rehearsal –\u00a09-10am: Shipoopi couples (the circle)\u00a0 10AM-noon: \u00a0ALL CAST members\u00a012-12:30pm: cast in p. 83-84<\/span><\/p>\n

*Tuesday, January 10th\u00a0– all Music Man Jr. cast – a singing rehearsal from\u00a03:10 until 5:00<\/p>\n

*Wednesday, January 11th\u00a0– Music Man Jr. rehearsal for students who are in pages 85-92…that’s the Pick-a-Little Ladies, Harold Hill and Marian.\u00a0 No quartet at this rehearsal).\u00a0 The rehearsal is from\u00a03:10-5:30<\/p>\n

AFTER SCHOOL VOCAL GROUPS: Rehearsals: *Monday, January 9th\u00a0– no rehearsal – meeting<\/span><\/p>\n

*Thursday, January 12th\u00a0– NE Singers\/Boys Group\/Girls Group rehearsal from 3:10-4:00<\/p>\n

*Saturday, January 14, 2017 No rehearsal – MLK Jr. holiday<\/span><\/p>\n

CHESS CLUB:\u00a0<\/span>The Second Session of Chess Club will be starting up again on\u00a0January 11th. They will be for FIVE\u00a0Wednesday\u2019s\u00a0again. Same time and same place in Mr. Spieker’s room in room A108. If you are interested in joining, and didn’t join in the fall, feel free to grab a permission form outside of room A108 on the 7th Grade Floor. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Spieker<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

DEBATE CLUB:\u00a0<\/span>Those of you who are interested in signing up for debate club our next session is scheduled to begin\u00a0January 9th\u00a0after school in room A105. You can pick up a sign-up sheet from Mr. Gross or Mrs. Schenk. Any questions please see one of us.<\/span><\/p>\n

KNITTING CLUB:\u00a0<\/span>The 2nd session for Knitting Club will be starting up\u00a0January 25th\u00a0from\u00a03:05-4:05pm in room A203 with Miss Ayre.\u00a0 New students are welcome to join, just stop by Miss Ayre\u2019s room any day after school before\u00a0January 13th\u00a0to pick up a permission form.\u00a0 All session 1 knitters are welcome to join again.\u00a0 Looking forward to having new and returning knitters.<\/span><\/p>\n

PEACE WEEK:\u00a0<\/span>Attention! Attention! Peace Week is coming\u00a0January 17th-20th! There will be school wide activities, morning announcement performances and a week of themed dress up days!<\/span><\/p>\n

*Tuesday the 17th-\u00a0Pajama Day! Warm up to a new friend, get to know someone different today!\u00a0 Say hey, what\u2019s up, hello to someone new!<\/p>\n

*Wednesday the 18th-Block out the hate! Wear\u00a0your sunglasses\u00a0to school and be positive.\u00a0 Too cool to care what\u00a0others think!\u00a0 Sign the bully free pledge during lunch!<\/p>\n

*Thursday the 19th-Sock it to rejection! \u00a0 Wear your\u00a0most outrageous or colorful socks.\u00a0 Show you accept everyone\u2019s differences and beliefs.<\/p>\n

*Friday the 20th-Respect for one another!\u00a0 Wear\u00a0your team t-shirt or team color to represent working together for\u00a0peace!\u00a0 We can always count on each other.<\/p>\n
