NEMS THEATRE COMPANY: Rehearsals:\u00a0Tuesday, January 10th\u00a0– There is NO Music Man Jr. rehearsal today – please alert your parents at the beginning of today so that you can plan accordingly. Mrs. Parker is not in school today due to illness…a Remind Me notification went out this morning. Sorry for the inconvenience.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

*Wednesday, January 11th\u00a0– Music Man Jr. rehearsal for students who are in pages 85-92…that’s the Pick-a-Little Ladies, Harold Hill and Marian.\u00a0 No quartet at this rehearsal).\u00a0 The rehearsal is from\u00a03:10-5:30<\/span><\/p>\n

CHESS CLUB:\u00a0<\/span>The Second Session of Chess Club will be starting up again on\u00a0January 11th. They will be for FIVE\u00a0Wednesday\u2019s\u00a0again. Same time and same place in Mr. Spieker’s room in room A108. If you are interested in joining, and didn’t join in the fall, feel free to grab a permission form outside of room A108 on the 7th Grade Floor. DENTAL EXAMS:<\/span>On\u00a0Friday January 13, 2017\u00a0the majority of the seventh grade school dental exams will be done in the nurse\u2019s office.\u00a0 Those students involved will have individual hall passes.\u00a0 Students: \u00a0If you have any dental exam form, please deliver it to the nurse\u2019s office now so we can update the schedule.\u00a0 Approximately 160 exams are scheduled to be done so the exams are expected to last until noontime.\u00a0 The nurse\u2019s office will be closed except to those students having dental exams and those requiring medications.\u00a0 Teachers: \u00a0Please allow the students to come to the nurse\u2019s office at the time on their pass.\u00a0 If there is an emergency, please call Student Services 42903.\u00a0 You will be notified when the remaining dental exams are scheduled.<\/span><\/p>\n

READING OLYMPICS:\u00a0<\/span>Mandatory meeting today during Activity period in Mrs. Rohrenbeck’s room, A300.\u00a0 We need to get the final count of participants for our upcoming competition.\u00a0 See you at\u00a02:30pm, in A300!<\/span><\/p>\n

SPORTS:\u00a0<\/span>Coach Schaffrick and Coach Amann would like to send a huge Congratulations to the Girls Varsity and JV Basketball Teams!<\/span><\/p>\n

Girls Varsity basketball played a strong game yesterday against Raub. Winning 24-15. \u00a08th Grader Yada MacTaggart led the team with 11 points! \u00a0Adding to the score was 7th graders Stephanie Donato (7 points), Erin Eisenhart (6 points)!!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Girls JV basketball played an AMAZING game against Raub. Winning 24-10!!!!\u00a07th grader Alexis Sostre made 12 points for our team! Adding to the score was 8th graders Anahi Ramos (6 points) and Trinity Lacayo (6 points)! It was a very exciting game; with 3 pointers and\u00a0 awesome rebounds…. sooooo exciting!!<\/span><\/p>\n

Everyone working together and executing what you have been taught was vital to our win!!!<\/span><\/p>\n

AWESOME JOB LADIES!!! We are very proud of you!!!<\/span><\/p>\n

ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE CLUB:\u00a0<\/span>We will be meeting today in room A305.\u00a0 Today is a supply run, so please bring your sneakers.\u00a0 Remember those who arrive survive. <\/span><\/p>\n

ROBOTICS CLUB:\u00a0<\/span>We will be meeting twice this week.\u00a0 We will be meeting on Wednesday\u00a0for an extra day and meet on our regularly scheduled\u00a0Thursday\u00a0as well. \u00a0Thursday\u00a0will be our last day so it\u2019s party time.\u00a0 Please bring a snack or drink to share. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

MATH NERDS:\u00a0<\/span>Alas all good things must come to an end and that includes math nerds.\u00a0 We will be having our end of club party\u00a0on Friday the 13th.\u00a0 Please bring a snack or drink to share with your fellow nerds.\u00a0 Whoever said\u00a0Friday the 13th\u00a0was unlucky clearly wasn\u2019t a math nerd member!<\/span><\/p>\n
