*Saturday, January 14, 2017 No rehearsal – MLK Jr. holiday<\/span><\/p>\n

*Tuesday, January 17, 2016 No rehearsal – meeting<\/span><\/p>\n

*Wednesday, January 18, 2017 Music Man scene 9 (p. 93-100) from\u00a03:10-5:30pm<\/span><\/p>\n

*Thursday, January 19, 2017 All cast – singing rehearsal from\u00a03:10-5:00pm<\/span><\/p>\n

*Saturday, January 21, 2017\u00a09-10am: scene 10, p. 102-110 10-12pm: ALL CAST MEMBERS (beginning and end of scene 10 – chase)<\/span><\/p>\n

CHESS CLUB:\u00a0<\/span>If you are interested in joining, and didn’t join in the fall, feel free to grab a permission form outside of room A108 on the 7th Grade Floor. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Spieker.<\/span><\/p>\n

DEBATE CLUB:\u00a0<\/span>The first Debate Club meeting has been moved to\u00a0Wednesday, January 18th\u00a0in room A105. All newcomers are welcome. If you are interested you can pick up a permission form from Mr. Gross or Mrs. Schenk. If you have any questions you can also see one of us.<\/span><\/p>\n

KNITTING CLUB:\u00a0<\/span>The 2nd session for Knitting Club will be starting up\u00a0January 25th\u00a0from\u00a03:05-4:05pm\u00a0in room A203 with Miss Ayre.\u00a0 New students are welcome to join, just stop by Miss Ayre\u2019s room any day after school before\u00a0January 13th\u00a0to pick up a permission form.\u00a0 All session 1 knitters are welcome to join again.\u00a0 Looking forward to having new and returning knitters.<\/span><\/p>\n

NEWSPAPER CLUB:\u00a0<\/span>The next meeting will be\u00a0Wednesday January 18th. <\/span><\/p>\n

MATH NERDS:\u00a0<\/span>We will be having our end of club party\u00a0today Friday the 13th.\u00a0 Please bring a snack or drink to share with your fellow nerds.\u00a0 Whoever said\u00a0Friday the 13th\u00a0was unlucky clearly wasn\u2019t a math nerd member!<\/span><\/p>\n

PEACE WEEK:\u00a0<\/span>Attention! Attention! Peace Week is coming\u00a0January 17th-20th! There will be school wide activities, morning announcement performances and a week of themed dress up days!<\/span><\/p>\n

*Tuesday the 17th-\u00a0Pajama Day! Warm up to a new friend, get to know someone different today!\u00a0 Say hey, what\u2019s up, hello to someone new!\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

*Wednesday the 18th-Block out the hate! Wear\u00a0your sunglasses\u00a0to school and be positive.\u00a0 Too cool to care what\u00a0others think!\u00a0 Sign the bully free pledge during lunch!<\/span><\/p>\n

*Thursday the 19th-Sock it to rejection! \u00a0 Wear your\u00a0most outrageous or colorful socks.\u00a0 Show you accept everyone\u2019s differences and beliefs. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

*Friday the 20th-Respect for one another!\u00a0 Wear\u00a0your team t-shirt or team color to represent working together for\u00a0peace!\u00a0 We can always count on each other.<\/span><\/p>\n

PEP RALLY:\u00a0<\/span>Today is our winter Pep Rally honoring our boys and girls basketball teams!\u00a0 Wear your green and white, and shake your pom poms which will be sold this am and before the pep rally!\u00a0 The pep rally will conclude with a basketball game where the teachers will attempt to beat the girl and boy team members!\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

DENTAL EXAMS:\u00a0<\/span>Today, the majority of the seventh grade school dental exams will be done in the nurse\u2019s office.\u00a0 Those students involved will have individual hall passes.\u00a0 Students: \u00a0If you have any dental exam form, please deliver it to the nurse\u2019s office now so we can update the schedule.\u00a0 Approximately 160 exams are scheduled to be done so the exams are expected to last until noontime.\u00a0 The nurse\u2019s office will be closed except to those students having dental exams and those requiring medications.\u00a0 <\/span>Teachers: \u00a0Please allow the students to come to the nurse\u2019s office at the time on their pass.\u00a0 If there is an emergency, please call Student Services 42903.\u00a0 You will be notified when the remaining dental exams are scheduled.<\/span><\/p>\n

SPORTS:\u00a0<\/span>Coach Schaffrick and Coach Amann would like to send a huge Congratulations to the Girls Varsity and JV Basketball Teams!!!<\/span><\/p>\n

Our Girls Varsity basketball team beat Broughal winning 30-7!!! 7th grader Stephanie Donato drove to the basket repeatedly adding multiple points to the board. 7th grader Alexis Sostre and 8th grader Gabby MacTaggart also added points to the board.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Girls JV basketball played an AMAZING game against Broughal. Winning 20-9!!!!\u00a07th grader Alexis Sostre made 9 points for our team! \u00a0Adding to the score was 7th grader Hannah Bosco (6 points) and 8th graders Trinity Lacayo (2 points) and Yesenia Diaz (3 points)!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

It was a very physical game; with 3 pointers and awesome rebounds!!!<\/span><\/p>\n

Everyone working together and executing what you have been taught was vital to our win!!!<\/span><\/p>\n

AWESOME JOB LADIES!!! We are EXTREMELY proud of you!!!<\/span><\/p>\n
