Here is our Northeast \u201cShout Out\u201d for the week of February 12th. Hopefully the end of this past week will fill our desire for snow and we will make it through the rest of this month without any more cancellations or school delays. Not that we all don\u2019t appreciate a beautiful snowfall, but it is just difficult to get back on track after a sudden disruption in our school schedule. Due to our cancellation of school on Thursday and our 2-hour delay on Friday, we have moved our 8<sup>th<\/sup> grade course selection to tomorrow, Monday the 13<sup>th<\/sup>. Also tomorrow night our Boys and Girls\u2019 basketball teams end their seasons with games against our crosstown rivals, Nitschmann.\u00a0\u00a0 Both games will be played at Liberty with the girls\u2019 game scheduled to start at 6 p.m. followed immediately by the boys.<\/p>\n<p>We remind everyone that this week is a short week for our students as our students have a \u00bd day of school on Thursday with dismissal at 11:30 and then our children are off on Friday. Thursday is a \u00bd day because in the evening we have our Student Led Conferences. Our conferences are held from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. If you have failed to sign up for a conference, please contact your child\u2019s Team Leader in order to secure a time. On Friday schools are closed for Teacher In-service.<\/p>\n<p>We also want to remind everyone that our Northeast Parent Teacher Organization will be meeting on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. and this meeting is followed up with our Band Parent Meeting at 7:00. We hope to see as many of you as possible there on Wednesday. Finally we end our week with our second annual District-wide Semi Formal Dance at Liberty High. This dance is sponsored by our district\u2019s Resource Officers and is open to students at all four of our middle schools. Last year\u2019s event was a great success and we hope the same for this year.
