AFTER SCHOOL VOCAL GROUPS & NEMS THEATRE COMPANY: Rehearsals:<\/p>\n

*Thursday, February 16th\u00a0– no rehearsal – make sure you attend Student Led Conferences!<\/span><\/p>\n

*Friday, February 17th\u00a0– no rehearsal – enjoy your day off!<\/span><\/p>\n

*Saturday, February 18th\u00a0– this is a new rehearsal added to the schedule, from\u00a010:00 AM until 1 PM…see Mrs. Parker with any concerns…<\/span><\/p>\n

*We are in the home stretch…biography forms and ad forms are due as soon as possible.\u00a0<\/span>If there are any students who are interested in designing a t-shirt for our musical, please see Mrs. Parker with any questions.\u00a0<\/span>Please keep your academic classes in order!\u00a0 Make us Northeast PROUD!<\/span><\/p>\n

ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE CLUB:\u00a0<\/span>We will have our last meeting\u00a0on Tuesday the 21st.\u00a0 We will have our Zombie themed party so please bring a snack or drink to share.\u00a0 Your gruesome creativity will be celebrated so feel free to bring snacks to match.<\/span><\/p>\n

NEPTO FUNDRAISER – FIVE GUYS:\u00a0Five Guys Burgers and Fries are fantastic! And they have other food for purchase to benefit Northeast Middle School! Tell your family and friends to Five Guys burgers and fries from\u00a03 – 10pm\u00a0Tuesday, February 21, and NEPTO receives 20% of all sales! When:\u00a03 to 10 PM,\u00a0Tuesday, February 21, 2017 Where: 914 Airport Center Drive, Allentown, 18109 (Target shopping center)<\/span><\/p>\n

RALLY FOR PEACE:\u00a0<\/span>Just a reminder to those of you invited to our Rally For Peace pizza party, it will be held\u00a0Wednesday the 22<\/span>ND<\/span> at 3:05pm in Miss Doncsecz’s room A206. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

WORLD LANGUAGE CLUB:\u00a0The next meetings for World Language Club will be\u00a0February 23\u00a0after school in Miss Danner’s room from\u00a03:05-4:25pm!<\/span><\/p>\n

DEBATE CLUB:\u00a0The next Debate Club meeting will be held\u00a0Thursday, February 23rd at 3:05\u00a0in room A105. All members are asked to attend. Any new people interested are also welcome. Any questions, please see Mr. Gross or Mrs. Schenk.<\/span><\/p>\n

WORLD PERCUSSION ENSEMBLE:\u00a0<\/span>World percussion ensemble, we have practice the next day 1 in school during activity. Next week\u00a0on Thursday, February 23, 2017 after school, ONLY the horns and strings will practice after school.<\/span><\/p>\n

MATH NERDS ROBOTICS & ARCHERY STUDENTS:\u00a0<\/span>Attention all prior members of math nerds, robotics club and archery: Mrs. Papagni has a stack of proud pounds that were never picked up from these clubs.\u00a0 If you were a member of math nerds, robotics or archery and did not pick up your proud pound, please see Mrs. Papagni in room\u00a0B305 during homeroom or after school to pick them up.<\/span><\/p>\n

DISMISSAL<\/span>:\u00a0<\/b>All students are to leave the school building upon dismissal at\u00a03:05PM\u00a0unless you are signed up and participating in an after school activity.\u00a0 Students MAY NOT wait in school or on school property for friends or siblings that are attending an activity.\u00a0 All students who participate in after school activities must also leave the building as soon as their activity is over.\u00a0 Students are not allowed to be in the building unsupervised!<\/span><\/p>\n

SPORTS:\u00a0<\/span>All students attending the Northeast basketball games must remain in the gym during the games.\u00a0 Students may visit the concession stand or the restroom if needed at halftime or between game periods but may not continue to wander in and out of the gym.\u00a0 Students are also reminded that all school rules apply during the games and proper behavior is required.\u00a0 Students should come to the games to cheer on their teams and enjoy the competition.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

*Anyone interested in competing in a 2 on 2 basketball tournament starting next week can sign-up with Miss Schaffrick in her room as well as pick up permission slips. The permission slips are due by Tuesday to John the trainer in the gym. Tournament will begin\u00a0next Tuesday\u00a0after school. Final day to sign up is\u00a0this Friday by the end of the day. Brackets will be posted next week. So grab a partner and sign up. If we can get enough students to sign up, we will have 2 separate tournaments, 1 for students with not much experience playing basketball and another with those that have more experience in basketball. Again final day to sign up is\u00a0this Friday, you can sign up with Miss Schaffrick, and you must return to your permission slip to John the trainer in the gym or Miss Schaffrick by\u00a0Tuesday.<\/p>\n

BOXTOPS:\u00a0Box Tops! Box Tops! Box Tops! Student Leadership received our check for over $700 from Box Tops. Let’s try for $500 more by\u00a0March 1. Box Tops sheets will be sent home with report cards. Please fill in a sheet and bring it in. Notice the Box Tops are trimmed and attached. Do not use staples. We will have another raffle in March. The prize will be afternoon admission to the Proud-A-Thon!\u00a0<\/span>Thank you so much,\u00a0<\/span>Box Tops Committee!<\/span><\/p>\n
