AFTER SCHOOL VOCAL GROUPS &NEMS THEATRE COMPANY: Rehearsals:\u00a0Tech week is here for Music Man Jr.!\u00a0 This week’s rehearsals are as follows:<\/span><\/p>\n

*Tuesday, February 21st,\u00a0Wednesday, February 22nd, and\u00a0Thursday, February 23rd’s rehearsals will be from\u00a03:10 until 6:00\u00a0in the auditorium.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

*Saturday, February 25th’s rehearsal will be from\u00a09:00 AM until 2:00 PM.\u00a0 We will be having photos taken as well, thanks to Christmas City Studios.\u00a0 Please have your envelope, with your money, ready to go\u00a0on Saturday.<\/span><\/p>\n

*Biographies and ad forms from both cast and crew are due by\u00a0Wednesday, February 22nd.\u00a0 Please get them to Mrs. Parker ASAP!\u00a0<\/span>Ticket orders are being taken as well…it is $5 for each ticket.\u00a0<\/span>If you have any questions, please see either Mrs. Klose, Miss Thomas, or Mrs. Parker.\u00a0<\/span>Please be sure to have your academic classes in order…use your time wisely…bring your homework to rehearsal so that you can work on it when you have a few moments of down time.\u00a0<\/span>MAKE US NORTHEAST PROUD!\u00a0 Thank you for your time and talent!<\/span><\/p>\n

ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE CLUB:\u00a0We will have our last meeting today.\u00a0 We will have our Zombie themed party so please bring a snack or drink to share.\u00a0 Your gruesome creativity will be celebrated so feel free to bring snacks to match.<\/span><\/p>\n

DANCE TEAM:\u00a0<\/span>There is practice\u00a0tomorrow,\u00a0Wednesday! <\/span><\/p>\n

WORLD PERCUSSION:\u00a0<\/span>World percussion ensemble, we have practice the\u00a0tomorrow, day 1 in school during activity.\u00a0This Thursday after school, ONLY the horns and strings will practice after school.<\/span><\/p>\n

RALLY FOR PEACE:\u00a0<\/span>Just a reminder to those of you invited to our Rally For Peace pizza party, it will be held\u00a0tomorrow\u00a0Febuary 22nd at\u00a03:05pm\u00a0in Miss Doncsecz’s room A206. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

NEPTO FUNDRAISER – FIVE GUYS:\u00a0Five Guys Burgers and Fries are fantastic! And they have other food for purchase to benefit Northeast Middle School! Tell your family and friends to Five Guys burgers and fries from\u00a03 – 10pm\u00a0Tuesday, February 21, and NEPTO receives 20% of all sales! When:\u00a03 to 10 PM,\u00a0Tuesday, February 21, 2017 Where: 914 Airport Center Drive, Allentown, 18109 (Target shopping center)<\/span><\/p>\n

WORLD LANGUAGE CLUB:\u00a0The next meeting for world language club will be\u00a0Thursday\u00a0after school in Miss Danner’s room from\u00a03:05-4:25pm!<\/span><\/p>\n

DEBATE CLUB:\u00a0The next Debate Club meeting will be held\u00a0Thursday, February 23rd at 3:05pm\u00a0in room A105. All members are asked to attend. Any new people interested are also welcome. Any questions, please see Mr. Gross or Mrs. Schenk.<\/span><\/p>\n

WORLD PERCUSSION ENSEMBLE:\u00a0<\/span>World percussion ensemble, we have practice the next day 1 in school during activity. Next week\u00a0on Thursday, February 23, 2017 after school, ONLY the horns and strings will practice after school.<\/span><\/p>\n

DISMISSAL<\/span>:\u00a0<\/b>All students are to leave the school building upon dismissal at\u00a03:05PM\u00a0unless you are signed up and participating in an after school activity.\u00a0 Students MAY NOT wait in school or on school property for friends or siblings that are attending an activity.\u00a0 All students who participate in after school activities must also leave the building as soon as their activity is over.\u00a0 Students are not allowed to be in the building unsupervised!<\/span><\/p>\n

SPORTS:\u00a0<\/span>All students attending the Northeast basketball games must remain in the gym during the games.\u00a0 Students may visit the concession stand or the restroom if needed at halftime or between game periods but may not continue to wander in and out of the gym.\u00a0 Students are also reminded that all school rules apply during the games and proper behavior is required.\u00a0 Students should come to the games to cheer on their teams and enjoy the competition.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

*Anyone interested in competing in a 2 on 2 basketball tournament starting next week can sign-up with Miss Schaffrick in her room as well as pick up permission slips. The permission slips are due by today to John the trainer in the gym. Tournament will begin today after school. Brackets will be posted this week. Anyone who signs up will receive free gear from St. Luke’s Hospital\u00a0on Tuesday.<\/span><\/p>\n

*Attention all Northeast Soccer Players, There will be an Open Gym after school until\u00a04pm\u00a0for\u00a0Monday Feb. 27th and Thursday March 2nd. This is not try-outs. If you have any questions, please see Coach Spieker in room A108 during homeroom.<\/p>\n

*There will be open gym for any 7th or 8th grade girl interested in trying out for softball, any position, this\u00a0Wednesday, February 22nd, and next\u00a0Wednesday, March 1st\u00a0in the main gym.\u00a0 It will be over at\u00a04 o’clock.<\/span><\/p>\n

BOXTOPS:\u00a0Box Tops! Box Tops! Box Tops! Student Leadership received our check for over $700 from Box Tops. Let’s try for $500 more by\u00a0March 1.\u00a0 Please fill in a sheet and bring it in. Notice the Box Tops are trimmed and attached. Do not use staples. We will have another raffle in March. The prize will be afternoon admission to the Proud-A-Thon!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
