It’s time to get ready for All City!<\/p>\n

DISMISSAL<\/span>:\u00a0<\/b>All students are to leave the school building upon dismissal at\u00a03:05PM\u00a0unless you are signed up and participating in an after school activity.\u00a0 Students MAY NOT wait in school or on school property for friends or siblings that are attending an activity.\u00a0 All students who participate in after school activities must also leave the building as soon as their activity is over.\u00a0 Students are not allowed to be in the building unsupervised!<\/span><\/p>\n

STUDENT LEADERSHIP COUNCIL:\u00a0<\/span>Student Leadership Council would like to remind you that you can be a leader, and not a litterer!\u00a0 Please help us keep Northeast clean! LHS BAGPIPES INFORMATION:\u00a0<\/span>When: Every Monday.\u00a0Where:\u200b In the LHS band room #620.\u00a0What:\u200b Lessons are offered to students who are interested in auditioning for the Liberty bagpipes High School Bagpipe Corps. You will need a practice chanter to begin lessons. During your studies you will learn proper breathing, notes, and basic technique for playing the bagpipes. You will have fun and learn what it takes to be an LHS Bagpiper.\u00a0***YOU DO NOT NEED TO HAVE ANY MUSICAL BACKGROUND***<\/p>\n

How to purchase a practice chanter:\u00a0You may buy one at Donegal Square or you can also purchase one online.<\/p>\n

HOMEWORK CLUB:\u00a0Team Explorers & Team Investigators next Homework Club meetings will be on\u00a0Monday, March 6th\u00a0and\u00a0Wednesday, March 8th.<\/p>\n

BOOK FAIR: The Spring Book Fair is OPEN! We have the latest in teen reads as well as some familiar favorites. There really is a GREAT selection! The fair runs until-March 10. Check with your world language, reading literacy, and math literacy teachers for the day your class is scheduled to visit the fair. You can buy the day you visit or come back a second time with money! See you there!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

SPORTS:\u00a0<\/span>*There will be one more open gym\u00a0on Thursday<\/span> after school until\u00a04pm. If you have your physicals and recerts done, please see Mr. Spieker during homeroom in room A110 or A108 to give him this week. Physicals need to be handed in before tryouts for the Northeast Soccer Team next week. If you have any questions, please see Coach Spieker.<\/span><\/p>\n

*Any\u00a07th grade girls trying out for softball should report today for tryout from\u00a03:05\u00a0\u2013 4pm.\u00a0 All girls trying out for the softball team should report to the gym\u00a0tomorrow\u00a0for tryouts from\u00a03:05 – 5:00.<\/p>\n

FUNDRAISER:\u00a0<\/span>Hello ! My name is Jadaliz Torres. I will be doing a<\/span>\u00a0winter clothing<\/b>\u00a0drive for the Hogar Crea Womens Center. This center is designed to get women back on their feet again. There are many women there who are in need of something warm to wear in the winter.\u00a0 The clothing drive will be starting today March 6th and ending\u00a0March 17th. Attention 6th grade! If you donate 4 or more items you will be able to have 8th and 9th periods of free time on a day to be announced following the end of the drive, and you will be allowed to bring personal devices as part of your reward.\u00a0 Thank you for helping the women of Hogar Crea.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
