AFTER SCHOOL VOCAL GROUPS: Rehearsals:\u00a0The schedule for vocal groups is as follows:<\/span><\/p>\n

*Tuesday, May 2nd\u00a0– Boys Group from\u00a03:10-4:00<\/span><\/p>\n

*Wednesday, May 3rd\u00a0– NE Singers – all from\u00a03:10-4:30<\/span><\/p>\n

*Thursday, May 4th\u00a0– All after school vocal groups from\u00a03:10-4:00\u00a0(this is a new rehearsal – thank you for your flexibility)<\/span><\/p>\n

DISMISSAL<\/span>:\u00a0<\/b>All students are to leave the school building upon dismissal at\u00a03:05PM\u00a0unless you are signed up and participating in an after school activity.\u00a0 Students MAY NOT wait in school or on school property for friends or siblings that are attending an activity.\u00a0 All students who participate in after school activities must also leave the building as soon as their activity is over.\u00a0Students are not allowed to be in the building unsupervised.<\/span><\/p>\n

PEP RALLY:\u00a0<\/span>The pep rally for today is cancelled and will not be rescheduled.<\/span><\/p>\n

STEP TEAM:\u00a0<\/span>Mandatory practice this week Tuesday, Thursday and\u00a0Friday until 5pm.\u00a0 Any step team member who has not paid their money for the trip to Hershey by\u00a0Friday\u00a0will not go on the trip. Any student who has not returned their uniform to Ms. Bauder by\u00a0Friday\u00a0will not attend the trip. Please arrange any rides necessary.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

MAJORETTE TRYOUTS:\u00a0<\/span>Liberty High School wants to notify you in regards to this year’s majorette try-outs. Please place the try-out date in our bulletins as today after school at Liberty High School in the band room. The candidates trying out will be responsible for learning a 32-count Liberty high School routine AND developing a 32-48 count routine on their own. The practice and try-out will be held today, beginning immediately following your school day. Music is optional if you wish to bring it. students please bring a copy of your most recent report card to the tryout. Once we have chosen our majorettes, they will send out an email with students who made the squad so that you may also announce accordingly.\u00a0 All those that make the squad will also be contacted via phone.\u00a0 Please direct any questions or concerns to them at liberty high school at\u00a0<\/span>(610) 691-7200<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n

WALKATHON:\u00a0Student Leadership Council will hold it\u2019s annual walk a thon next\u00a0Friday, May 5th\u00a0during period 9. The cost to participate is $1, and homeroom teachers will be collecting all money.\u00a0 Come out and show your support for our school!<\/span><\/p>\n

WORLD LANGUAGE CLUB:\u00a0<\/span>The next World Language Club meeting will be held on\u00a0<\/span>Thursday, May 4th\u00a0after school in room A103!<\/span><\/p>\n

SPORTS:\u00a0<\/span>*Congratulations to the Varsity Soccer Team! They traveled across Allentown to play against Raub Middle School. They won 6 to Zero with Six different people scoring goals. Erik Galeas, Joseph Snyder, Matthew Johnston, Anastasia Morae, Nicholas McLean, and Amos Mokaya all scored in the big victory. The team had a team high of four assists from Jeremy Lopez, Zane Landis, Gio Teran, and Omauri Hunte. Today, the Varsity and JV squad travel across town to Broughal Middle School. Good Luck Hornets!<\/span><\/p>\n

HOMEWORK CLUB:\u00a0<\/span>*7th Grade homework club meets today after school in A113. See Ms. Troutman for more information or a sign-up permission form.\u00a0<\/span>*6th graders interested in joining homework club for May should report to Room A209 at\u00a03:05pm\u00a0today. Homework club is a great place to make sure you’re on top of all your assignments and also get extra help with any subjects you might be struggling with. If you’re interested, stop by Room A209 today at\u00a03:05pm.<\/p>\n

THANK YOU:\u00a0<\/span>Thank you, for everyone that acme out and supported Cole’s event last Saturday.\u00a0 It was a big success.\u00a0 Cole has received $1,100 in donations.\u00a0 Thank you for supporting his project.<\/span><\/p>\n

DANCE:\u00a0Get ready for the last 6th & 7th grade dance of the year Hornets!\u00a0 The Northeast PTO will be sponsoring a dance this Friday, May 5th from\u00a07-9pm.\u00a0 The theme is Red, White, and Blue!\u00a0 The incoming 6th grade class is also invited, let\u2019s show them how amazing our school is and show your support!\u00a0 We will have some great things happening!\u00a0 The PTO will have Sand Crafters edible Pucker Powder Candy Art.\u00a0 Come and create your own colorful sour straw!\u00a0 Just $3.00 to make a 12 inch straw!\u00a0 The PTO will also have a best dressed patriotic theme contest.\u00a0 One boy and one girl each will win a gift card to Five Below!\u00a0 The PTO will also have a great game called Body Poppers.\u00a0 Try and bop your opponent off the mat to win a prize!\u00a0 Don\u2019t miss this dance! We will see you\u00a0this Friday!!<\/span><\/p>\n

JUNIOR POLICE ACADEMY:\u00a0<\/span>Officer Elias is accepting applications for the Junior Police Academy.\u00a0 The Academy runs from\u00a0June 12th to June 23rd.\u00a0 Cadets will get educated on the police department and different stages of the legal system.\u00a0<\/span>Selected cadets will get to go on field trips and receive presentations from various professionals within public service.\u00a0 There will be daily physical training that the cadets are required to participate in. <\/span>There is limited spacing and cadets will be selected based on Academic performance and behavior.\u00a0 Applications are to be returned to Officer Elias before\u00a0May 12th.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
