MRS. PARKER’S CLASSES:\u00a0Mrs. Parker’s 4th and 9th period classes are to meet in the library…that is the 7th grade Integrated Arts class and the 6th grade Integrated Arts class.\u00a0<\/span>The 7th and 8th grade music classes are meeting in Mr. Huie’s room. Thank you for your flexibility.<\/p>\n

AFTER SCHOOL VOCAL GROUPS: Rehearsals:\u00a0<\/span>The schedule for vocal groups is as follows:<\/span><\/p>\n

*Monday, May 8th: \u00a0All after school vocal groups…Boys Group, Girls Group, and NE Singers – all, from\u00a03:10-4:30<\/span><\/p>\n

*Tuesday, May 9th: \u00a0NEMS Vocal Ensembles Concert at\u00a07 PM.\u00a0 After school groups, please report to NE, wearing white tops and black bottoms, at\u00a06 PM.\u00a0 The concert is free to the public.<\/span><\/p>\n

*Wednesday, May 10th: \u00a0Mandatory trip meeting for students who are attending the Music in the Parks trip to Lake Compounce, Connecticut. Your parent must be with you for this meeting, which begins at 7 PM.\u00a0<\/span>Thank you for your time and talents…<\/span><\/p>\n

DISMISSAL<\/span>:\u00a0<\/b>All students are to leave the school building upon dismissal at\u00a03:05PM\u00a0unless you are signed up and participating in an after school activity.\u00a0 Students MAY NOT wait in school or on school property for friends or siblings that are attending an activity.\u00a0 All students who participate in after school activities must also leave the building as soon as their activity is over.\u00a0Students are not allowed to be in the building unsupervised.<\/span><\/p>\n

YEARBOOK:\u00a0Don’t miss out on the memories! Yearbooks are a great way to never forget that you’re #NortheastProud. Don’t wait too long, or they may be sold out. Order forms and money should be submitted to Miss V in room A101.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

HERSHEY COMPETITION: *Attention Cheerleaders, Dance Team, and Step Team.\u00a0 Do not forget about the meeting in the cafeteria after school today to talk about the competition.\u00a0 You will then have practice after the meeting.<\/span><\/p>\n

STEP TEAM:\u00a0<\/span>Mandatory practice today until 5pm.\u00a0 Any step team member who has not paid their money for the trip to Hershey by\u00a0today will not go on the trip. Any student who has not returned their uniform to Ms. Bauder by\u00a0today\u00a0will not attend the trip. Please arrange any rides necessary.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

DANCE TEAM:\u00a0<\/span>Practice today, Friday, May 5 after school. <\/span><\/p>\n

JUNIOR POLICE ACADEMY:\u00a0<\/span>Officer Elias is accepting applications for the Junior Police Academy. The Academy runs from\u00a0June 12th to June 23rd.\u00a0 Cadets will get educated on the police department and different stages of the legal system.\u00a0<\/span>Selected cadets will get to go on field trips and receive presentations from various professionals within public service.\u00a0 There will be daily physical training that the cadets are required to participate in. <\/span>There is limited spacing and cadets will be selected based on Academic performance and behavior.\u00a0 Applications are to be returned to Officer Elias before\u00a0May 12th.<\/p>\n

SPORTS:\u00a0<\/span>*Congrats to our Varsity Squad yesterday! They were able to pull out a win against Nazareth Middle School with a final score of 5 to 4. In the first half, we had Anastasia Morae score a goal from a pass from Erik Galeas. Anthony Rodrigues was able to take a solo shot and score too. In the second half, the Hornets had Assists from Erik Galeas, Emma Harvey, and Ethan Ferrey. Our final three goals were from Mason Burger, Matthew Johnston, and Anastasia Morae! There record is 6 wins, 4 loses, and 1 Tie. Next week, they play against Bethlehem Catholic and East Hills! Go Green!<\/span><\/p>\n

*Cheer tryouts will be held\u00a0May 15th-May 18th\u00a0from\u00a03:05-5:00\u00a0in the main gym. Please come dressed appropriately in comfortable work out clothes. Bring your most recent report card as well.<\/p>\n

*Attention Soccer Team, there will be practice today in the Main Gym until\u00a04:30pm for both JV and Varsity team<\/p>\n

DANCE:\u00a0Get ready for the last 6th & 7th grade dance of the year Hornets!\u00a0 The Northeast PTO will be sponsoring a dance this Friday, May 5th from\u00a07-9pm.\u00a0 The theme is Red, White, and Blue!\u00a0 The incoming 6th grade class is also invited, let\u2019s show them how amazing our school is and show your support!\u00a0 We will have some great things happening!\u00a0 The PTO will have Sand Crafters edible Pucker Powder Candy Art.\u00a0 Come and create your own colorful sour straw!\u00a0 Just $3.00 to make a 12 inch straw!\u00a0 The PTO will also have a best dressed patriotic theme contest.\u00a0 One boy and one girl each will win a gift card to Five Below!\u00a0 The PTO will also have a great game called Body Poppers.\u00a0 Try and bop your opponent off the mat to win a prize!\u00a0 Don\u2019t miss this dance! We will see you\u00a0this Friday!!<\/span><\/p>\n
