AFTER SCHOOL VOCAL GROUPS: Rehearsals:\u00a0<\/span>The schedule for vocal groups is as follows:<\/span><\/p>\n

*Monday, May 8th: \u00a0All after school vocal groups…Boys Group, Girls Group, and NE Singers – all, from\u00a03:10-4:30<\/span><\/p>\n

*Tuesday, May 9th: \u00a0NEMS Vocal Ensembles Concert at\u00a07 PM.\u00a0 After school groups, please report to NE, wearing white tops and black bottoms, at\u00a06 PM.\u00a0 The concert is free to the public.<\/span><\/p>\n

*Wednesday, May 10th: \u00a0Mandatory trip meeting for students who are attending the Music in the Parks trip to Lake Compounce, Connecticut. Your parent must be with you for this meeting, which begins at 7 PM.<\/span><\/p>\n

DISMISSAL<\/span>:\u00a0<\/b>All students are to leave the school building upon dismissal at\u00a03:05PM\u00a0unless you are signed up and participating in an after school activity.\u00a0 Students MAY NOT wait in school or on school property for friends or siblings that are attending an activity.\u00a0 All students who participate in after school activities must also leave the building as soon as their activity is over.\u00a0Students are not allowed to be in the building unsupervised.<\/span><\/p>\n

YEARBOOK:\u00a0Don’t miss out on the memories! Yearbooks are a great way to never forget that you’re #NortheastProud. Don’t wait too long, or they may be sold out. Order forms and money should be submitted to Miss V in room A101.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

JUNIOR POLICE ACADEMY:\u00a0<\/span>Officer Elias is accepting applications for the Junior Police Academy.\u00a0 The Academy runs from\u00a0June 12th to June 23rd.\u00a0 Cadets will get educated on the police department and different stages of the legal system.\u00a0<\/span>Selected cadets will get to go on field trips and receive presentations from various professionals within public service.\u00a0 There will be daily physical training that the cadets are required to participate in. <\/span>There is limited spacing and cadets will be selected based on Academic performance and behavior.\u00a0 Applications are to be returned to Officer Elias before\u00a0May 12th.<\/span><\/p>\n

SPORTS:\u00a0<\/span>Cheer tryouts will be held\u00a0May 15th-May 18th\u00a0from\u00a03:05-5:00pm\u00a0in the main gym. Please come dressed appropriately in comfortable work out clothes. Bring your most recent report card as well.<\/span><\/p>\n

NEPTO FUNDRAISER – FRIENDLY’S:\u00a0<\/span>Hungry for great food and delicious ice cream desserts? HOMEWORK CLUB:\u00a0<\/span>7th grade homework club will meet\u00a0on Wednesday\u00a0and\u00a0Thursday this week. There will be NO 7th grade homework club\u00a0on Tuesday this week. See Ms. Troutman with any questions.<\/span><\/p>\n

DANCE TEAM:\u00a0<\/span>Dance team! Practice today after school,\u00a0Monday. Practice is also Tuesday\u00a0and\u00a0Wednesday\u00a0after school this week. Don’t forget we perform for elementary schools Tuesday & Wednesday, so bring your dance team shirt! Let’s get ready for the competition\u00a0this Saturday!<\/span><\/p>\n

WORLD PERCUSSION:\u00a0<\/span>World Percussion, practice is\u00a0FRIDAY this week. Everyone needs to be there, concert is next week.<\/span><\/p>\n
