AFTER SCHOOL VOCAL GROUPS: Rehearsals:<\/span><\/p>\n

A special Northeast thank you to the students who performed at last night’s vocal ensembles concert…both your talent and dedication to creating beautiful music was a joy for the audience to listen to.\u00a0<\/span>Thank you for making us Northeast PROUD.<\/span><\/p>\n

*Today, May 10th: \u00a0Mandatory trip meeting for students who are attending the Music in the Parks trip to Lake Compounce, Connecticut. Your parent must be with you for this meeting, which begins at 7 PM.\u00a0<\/span>Thank you for your time and talents…<\/span><\/p>\n

WORLD PERCUSSION:\u00a0<\/span>World Percussion, practice is\u00a0FRIDAY this week. Everyone needs to be there, concert is next week.<\/span><\/p>\n

DISMISSAL<\/span>:\u00a0<\/b>All students are to leave the school building upon dismissal at\u00a03:05PM\u00a0unless you are signed up and participating in an after school activity.\u00a0 Students MAY NOT wait in school or on school property for friends or siblings that are attending an activity.\u00a0 All students who participate in after school activities must also leave the building as soon as their activity is over.\u00a0Students are not allowed to be in the building unsupervised.<\/span><\/p>\n

YEARBOOK:\u00a0Don’t miss out on the memories! Yearbooks are a great way to never forget that you’re #NortheastProud. Don’t wait too long, or they may be sold out. Order forms and money should be submitted to Miss V in room A101.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

HOMEWORK CLUB:\u00a0<\/span>7th grade homework club will meet\u00a0on Wednesday\u00a0and\u00a0Thursday this week. See Ms. Troutman with any questions.<\/span><\/p>\n

JUNIOR POLICE ACADEMY:\u00a0Officer Elias is accepting applications for the Junior Police Academy.\u00a0 The Academy runs from\u00a0June 12th to June 23rd.\u00a0 Cadets will get educated on the police department and different stages of the legal system.\u00a0<\/span>Selected cadets will get to go on field trips and receive presentations from various professionals within public service.\u00a0 There will be daily physical training that the cadets are required to participate in. <\/span>There is limited spacing and cadets will be selected based on Academic performance and behavior.\u00a0 Applications are to be returned to Officer Elias before\u00a0May 12th.<\/span><\/p>\n

NEPTO FUNDRAISER – FRIENDLY’S:\u00a0<\/span>Hungry for great food and delicious ice cream desserts? Tell your parents to enjoy a night off from cooking while supporting us!<\/span><\/p>\n

SPORTS:\u00a0<\/span>Cheer tryouts will be held\u00a0May 15th-May 18th\u00a0from\u00a03:05-5:00pm\u00a0in the main gym. Please come dressed appropriately in comfortable work out clothes. Bring your most recent report card as well.<\/span><\/p>\n

DANCE TEAM:\u00a0<\/span>Practice is\u00a0Thursday\u00a0after school this week. Don’t forget we perform for elementary schools Today and\u00a0Wednesday, so bring your dance team shirt! Let’s get ready for the competition\u00a0this Saturday!<\/span><\/p>\n

ADVANCED ARCHERY:\u00a0<\/span>Your tournament is scheduled for\u00a0Thursday, May 11th.\u00a0 Please remind your parents to bring in a camp chair to sit on if they plan on attending since there is no seating in the auxiliary gym.\u00a0 The tournament will begin right after school, so please make sure you get to archery promptly on the 11th.\u00a0 Also please start bringing\u00a0in your $3 for the end of season pizza party on\u00a0May 16th.\u00a0 Money can be dropped off to Mrs. Papagni during homeroom or during practice.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
