DROP OFF TABLE:\u00a0<\/span>Student Services has a drop off table.\u00a0 If you are expecting something dropped off, please come to the Student Services drop off table for pick up.\u00a0 Ms. Osorio will write you a hall pass or sign your pass.\u00a0 If you are expecting money, please see Ms. Osorio. Money will not be left on the table. \u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

BOXTOPS:\u00a0<\/span>Want to help our school raise money? Please bring in boxtops for education. Boxtops can be found on so many items! Simply cut them off and bring them to your homeroom teacher. Homeroom teachers can then send them to Mrs. Swavely or Mrs. Braido and student council will take care of the rest.<\/span><\/p>\n

SAFE TO TELL:\u00a0<\/span>It’s SAFE to Tell.” The SAFE Team exists to help students with problems in a confidential manner\u00a0<\/span>to help remove any and all barriers\u00a0to education.\u00a0 You can refer your friends or yourself.\u00a0 Just fill out the SAFE to Tell form which you can find in your homeroom, Student Services, the Library and the Main Office and drop the form in the SAFE Box or give it to your homeroom teacher who will deposit the form for you.\u00a0 Don’t worry, “It’s Safe To Tell.<\/span><\/p>\n

CHORUS:\u00a0<\/span>Auditions for the after school vocal groups will take place on today, September 11th,\u00a0Tuesday, September 12th, and\u00a0Wednesday, September 13th\u00a0from\u00a03:10 until 4:30pm.\u00a0 Please report to the chorus room after school.\u00a0 These auditions are open to all 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students who would like to sing above and beyond the grade level choruses.\u00a0 Remember, you must have signed up for chorus in homeroom if you wish to audition.\u00a0<\/span>*If you have any questions about Boys Group, Girls Group, and Northeast Singers, please see Mrs. Parker.\u00a0 All returning after school vocal group students\u00a0<\/span>must\u00a0re-audition during the 11th, 12th, and 13th.\u00a0 Looking forward to hearing you sing!<\/span><\/p>\n

SPORTS:\u00a0<\/span>The NEMS football team won their home opener against Nazareth!! Offensively we had an awesome game with Skyler Grant scoring three touchdowns on the ground! And Jaylin Freeman with a long reception for a TD!!! Other offensive stand outs were: Joesph Barnes with a TD pass and a two point conversion, Asad Harrington who had a great game leading Skyler into the end zone, and our entire Offensive line way to block!!! \u00a0 Defensively we pitched a shut out and couldn\u2019t be more proud of out Hornets Swarming to the football!! Defensive stand outs were, Asad Harrington, Javon Resto, Xavier Husky, Turk Giordano, Malachi McNeil, and Skyler Grant!\u00a0 Congratulations on the win and keep working hard!!!!! \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
