AFTER SCHOOL VOCAL GROUPS: Rehearsals:<\/span><\/p>\n

Mon, Oct 23rd – Girls Group from\u00a03:10-4:15<\/span><\/p>\n

Tues, Oct 24th – NE Singers Girls 3:10-4:30<\/span><\/p>\n

Wed, Oct 25th\u00a0– no rehearsal – football game at BASD Stadium!<\/span><\/p>\n

Thurs, Oct 26th\u00a0–\u00a0All after school vocal groups – Boys from\u00a03:10-3:45pm. \u00a0This Thursday rehearsal is a change from the original\u00a0schedule…please make the change.<\/span><\/p>\n

DRAMA: Are you ready to audition for this year’s musical?\u00a0 Hey, nonni nonni is it YOU? There will be a meeting from\u00a03:10-4:30\u00a0after<\/span> school on\u00a0Friday, October 27th\u00a0in the auditorium.\u00a0 We will be seeing highlights from the musical “Once Upon a Mattress” as well as learn the audition song and dance.\u00a0 The materials will be available for you to practice starting\u00a0Tuesday, October 24th.\u00a0 Please see Mrs. Parker for the materials. Auditions for the musical will be on\u00a0Monday, October 30th,\u00a0Tuesday, October 31st, and\u00a0November 1st from 3:10-5:30.\u00a0 You must be able to attend either the\u00a0Tuesday\u00a0or\u00a0Wednesday\u00a0date.\u00a0 Details to come…can’t wait to get started!<\/span><\/p>\n

DANCE & WORLD PERCUSSION:\u00a0<\/span>Dance team and world percussion ensemble, please don’t forget to have your parents fill out the permission form! It is due Friday, October 20.<\/span><\/p>\n

KNITTING CLUB:\u00a0Students, are you prepared for the cooler\u00a0temperatures?\u00a0 Are you in need of a knitted scarf?\u00a0 Well, if you are and would like to learn to\u00a0knit your own to wear or donate to someone in need, then come to Miss\u00a0Ayre\u2019s\u00a0Knitting Club.\u00a0 It\u2019s\u00a0open to all grade levels\u00a0and no prior experience needed.\u00a0 Stop by room A208 to pick up a permission form.<\/span><\/p>\n

DEBATE CLUB:\u00a0The next debate club meeting will be October 24th in Miss Cedor\u2019s room after school. Her room number is B303. If you have any questions, please see her.<\/span><\/p>\n

SPORTS:\u00a0<\/span>The cross country team had a great end of season race at the Hurricane Invitational. Our top runners for Varsity were Zane Landis, Jude Chichester, Addison Collins, and Star Stauffer.\u00a0 Everyone ran their best. We are so proud of you all!\u00a0 Don’t forget to bring your uniform shirt\u00a0on Tuesday, October 24 for our team photo in the main gym before our pizza party. Great job team!<\/p>\n

* Any student who would like to try out for a winter sport must have a completed physical. St. Luke\u2019s will be holding Winter Physicals at Northeast Middle School\u2019s Main Gymnasium on Thursday, October 26th from\u00a05PM-7PM.\u00a0 Physicals will be free. Please make sure you have a physical form filled out prior to this date with all the information except what the physician needs to fill out. Physical forms are located in the main office at the front counter or see Mr. Korcienski. If you played a fall sport you will not need a full physical but a re-evaluation form. \u00a0You can pick either one up after school. See Mr. Carlstrom or Ms. Schaffrick if you have any questions about Boy\u2019s or Girl\u2019s basketball.<\/p>\n

*6th, 7th and 8th grade boys and girls.\u00a0 Interested in joining the Canes basketball club?\u00a0 See coach Carlstrom in room 105 for information.<\/span><\/p>\n

*Ready to play basketball ladies?! Open gym will be every Wednesday\u00a0 until tryouts start.\u00a0<\/span>Please stop by Coach Schaffrick\u2019s office to pick up the intramural form. It is the only way you can participate.\u00a0 No exceptions!!!<\/span><\/p>\n

*Boys basketball: Next open gym times:\u00a0<\/span>8th grade:\u00a0Tuesday, 10\/24\u00a0in the Auxiliary gym,\u00a0<\/span>7th grade:\u00a0Wed., 10\/25\u00a0in the Main gym.<\/span><\/p>\n

FALL SPORTS & SCHOOL SPIRIT: It\u2019s that time of the year when we bring a close to our Fall Sports season. Monday, 10\/23\/17\u00a0volley ball will play at Freedom High School at 5:30 and we end with our night football game at Liberty High School on\u00a0Wednesday 10\/25\/17 at 5:30.\u00a0 To show our school spirit we will follow this schedule for the week of\u00a0October 23, 2017.<\/span><\/p>\n
