KNITTING CLUB:\u00a0Students, are you prepared for the cooler\u00a0 temperatures? Are you in need of a knitted scarf?\u00a0 Well, if you are and would like to learn to\u00a0knit your own to wear or donate to someone in need, then come to Miss\u00a0Ayre\u2019s\u00a0Knitting Club. It\u2019s\u00a0open to all grade levels\u00a0and no prior experience needed.\u00a0 Stop by room A208 to pick up a permission form.<\/span><\/p>\n

AFTER SCHOOL VOCAL GROUPS: Rehearsals:<\/span><\/p>\n

-Wed, Oct 25th\u00a0– no rehearsal – football game at BASD Stadium!<\/span><\/p>\n

-Thurs, Oct 26th\u00a0–\u00a0All after school vocal groups – Boys from\u00a03:10-3:45pm. \u00a0This Thursday rehearsal is a change from the original\u00a0 schedule…please make the change.<\/span><\/p>\n

DRAMA: Are you ready to audition for this year’s musical?\u00a0 Hey, nonni nonni is it YOU? There will be a meeting from\u00a03:10-4:30\u00a0after school on\u00a0Friday, October 27th\u00a0in the auditorium.\u00a0 We will be seeing highlights from the musical “Once Upon a Mattress” as well as learn the audition song and dance.\u00a0 The materials will be available for you to practice starting Tuesday, October 24th.\u00a0 Please see Mrs. Parker for the materials. Auditions for the musical will be on Monday, October 30th,\u00a0Tuesday, October 31st, and\u00a0November 1st from 3:10-5:30.\u00a0 You must be able to attend either the\u00a0Tuesday\u00a0or\u00a0Wednesday\u00a0date.\u00a0 Details to come…can’t wait to get started!\u00a0<\/span>See Mrs. Parker with any questions or concerns.<\/span><\/p>\n

SPORTS:\u00a0<\/span>Attention 7th and 8th Grade Boys interested in trying out for the Boys Intramural Volleyball Team…\u00a0<\/span>Football players will try out\u00a0Friday\u00a0(October 27th).\u00a0<\/span>Please make sure you have the Intramural permission form filled out to try out… no form, no trying out. <\/span>If you need a permission form see Ms. Schaffrick or you can get one in the Main Office.\u00a0<\/span>I only have 12 uniforms, so make sure to try your best!!! GOOD LUCK!!!!<\/span><\/p>\n

*Ready to play basketball ladies?! Open gym will be every Wednesday\u00a0 until tryouts start.\u00a0Please stop by Coach Schaffrick\u2019s office to pick up the intramural form. It is the only way you can participate.\u00a0 No exceptions!!!<\/p>\n

*8th grade boys basketball open gym will be\u00a0this Wednesday\u00a0in the Main gym from\u00a03:15 to 4:30pm.<\/p>\n

*There will be an open practice for cheerleaders on Wednesday, November 1st at 3:30 in the hallway by the cafeteria. Any girls interested in possibly cheering for basketball or competition season can attend and we will discuss further information then. Come dressed to cheer and actually practice with us.<\/p>\n

*Any student who would like to try out for a winter sport must have a completed physical. St. Lukes will be holding winter physicals at Northeast Middle School\u2019s Main Gymnasium on\u00a0Thursday, October 26th from 5PM-7PM. Physicals will be free. Please make sure you have a physical form filled out prior to this date with all the information except what the physician needs to fill out.\u00a0 Physical forms are located in the main office at the front counter or see Mr. Korcienski. \u00a0If you played a fall sport you will not need a full physical but a re-evaluation form. \u00a0 You can pick either one up after school.\u00a0 See Mr. Carlstrom or Ms. Schaffrick if you have any questions about Boy\u2019s or Girl\u2019s basketball.<\/p>\n

FALL SPORTS & SCHOOL SPIRIT: It\u2019s that time of the year when we bring a close to our Fall Sports season.\u00a0Tonight, we end with our night football game at Liberty High School on\u00a0Wednesday 10\/25\/17 at 5:30.\u00a0 To show our school spirit we will follow this schedule for the week of\u00a0October 23, 2017<\/span><\/p>\n
