KNITTING CLUB:\u00a0Students, are you prepared for the cooler temperatures? Are you in need of a knitted scarf?\u00a0 Well, if you are and would like to learn to\u00a0knit your own to wear or donate to someone in need, then come to Miss\u00a0Ayre\u2019s\u00a0Knitting Club.\u00a0 It\u2019s\u00a0open to all grade levels\u00a0and no prior experience needed.\u00a0 Stop by room A208 to pick up a permission form.<\/span><\/p>\n

AFTER SCHOOL VOCAL GROUPS: Rehearsals:<\/span><\/p>\n

-Thurs, Oct 26th\u00a0–\u00a0All after school vocal groups – Boys from\u00a03:10-3:45pm. \u00a0This Thursday rehearsal is a change from the original\u00a0schedule…please make the change.<\/span><\/p>\n

DRAMA: Are you ready to audition for this year’s musical?\u00a0 Hey, nonni nonni is it YOU? There will be a meeting from\u00a03:10-4:30\u00a0after school\u00a0tomorrow,\u00a0October 27th\u00a0in the auditorium.\u00a0 We will be seeing highlights from the musical “Once Upon a Mattress” as well as learn the audition song and dance.\u00a0 The materials will be available for you to practice starting Tuesday, October 24th.\u00a0 Please see Mrs. Parker for the materials. Auditions for the musical will be on\u00a0Monday, October 30th,\u00a0Tuesday, October 31st, and\u00a0November 1st from 3:10-5:30.\u00a0 You must be able to attend either the Tuesday or Wednesday date. Details to come…can’t wait to get started!\u00a0<\/span>See Mrs. Parker with any questions or concerns.<\/span><\/p>\n

SPORTS:\u00a0<\/span>Attention 7th and 8th Grade Boys interested in trying out for the Boys Intramural Volleyball Team…\u00a0<\/span>Football players will try out tomorrow (October 27th).\u00a0<\/span>Please make sure you have the Intramural permission form filled out to try out… no form, no trying out. <\/span>If you need a permission form see Ms. Schaffrick or you can get one in the Main Office.\u00a0<\/span>I only have 12 uniforms, so make sure to try your best!!! GOOD LUCK!!!!<\/span><\/p>\n

*Ready to play basketball ladies?!\u00a0<\/span>Open gym will be every Wednesday until tryouts start.\u00a0<\/span>Please stop by Coach Schaffrick\u2019s office to pick up the intramural form. It is the only way you can participate.\u00a0 No exceptions!!!<\/span><\/p>\n

*There will be an open practice for cheerleaders on Wednesday, November 1st at 3:30pm in the hallway by the cafeteria. Any girls interested in possibly cheering for basketball or competition season can attend and we will discuss further information then.\u00a0<\/span>Come dressed to cheer and actually practice with us.<\/span><\/p>\n

*Don’t forget: Winter sports physicals will be held here at NE ,today, 10\/26 from 5 to 7. Pick up physical forms in the office.<\/span><\/p>\n

PICTURE RETAKE DAY:\u00a0<\/span>Picture\u00a0retakes\u00a0are scheduled for Wednesday, Nov 1, 2017.\u00a0Retakes\u00a0will be for students and staff members that were absent on\u00a0picture\u00a0day or\u00a0for those that are\u00a0not happy with their picture package. If you are retaking your picture to\u00a0replace your\u00a0original\u00a0picture\u00a0package, please make sure\u00a0to bring with you on\u00a0Wednesday, Nov 1<\/span>st<\/span> the\u00a0original\u00a0picture\u00a0package you would like replaced.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

TEAM ACTIVE:\u00a0<\/span>On Friday\u00a0afternoon TEAM ACTIVE was cleaning up the trash on our school grounds. They found a painted rock with the word “inspire” on it. The rock also said “Bethlehem PA Rocks” with the Facebook logo.\u00a0<\/span>Team Active discovered this is part of a random acts of kindness project and this week, they will be painting rocks, writing positive messages on them and placing them around our school campus and in our student’s neighborhoods.\u00a0<\/span>If you find one of our messages, keep the rock or place it elsewhere for someone else to find. \u00a0One positive word can change a person for good.\u00a0Keep this Random Act of Kindness idea going. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

PINK OUT:\u00a0<\/span>Student Leadership Council will be hosting a \u201cPink out\u201d\u00a0this Friday\u00a0to wrap up spirit week.\u00a0 All homerooms are encouraged to wear an article of pink clothing in honor of Breast Cancer awareness.\u00a0 Homerooms with \u201ctotal pink out\u201d will have their names entered into a drawing for a prize!<\/span><\/p>\n

STEP TEAM:\u00a0Step team practice will be\u00a0today, October 26, from 3:15 to\u00a05:20 PM\u00a0be there wearing your boots or sneakers.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

DEBATE CLUB:\u00a0<\/span>Attention all debaters! The next debate club meeting will take place\u00a0October 31, after school, in room A105. Any questions, please see Mr. Gross or Miss Cedor.<\/span><\/p>\n
