DEBATE CLUB:\u00a0<\/span>The next Debate club meeting will be\u00a0Wednesday, November 8th, after school in room A105. All members should attend. Please see Mr. Gross or Miss Cedor with any questions.<\/span><\/p>\n

KNITTING CLUB:\u00a0Students, are you prepared for the cooler\u00a0temperatures?\u00a0 Are you in need of a knitted scarf?\u00a0 Well, if you are and would like to learn to\u00a0knit your own to wear or donate to someone in need, then come to Miss\u00a0Ayre\u2019s\u00a0Knitting Club.\u00a0 It\u2019s\u00a0open to all grade levels\u00a0and no prior experience needed.\u00a0 Stop by room A208 to pick up a permission form.<\/span><\/p>\n

BOOK FAIR:\u00a0Book fair runs from\u00a0November 13th through the 21st. Can’t wait to see you there!<\/span><\/p>\n

DRAMA & AFTER SCHOOL VOCAL GROUPS: Rehearsals:<\/span><\/p>\n

-Today, November 6th – read through of the musical with the cast.\u00a0 This rehearsal will be held in the chorus room from\u00a03:10-5:30.<\/span><\/p>\n

-Tuesday, November 7th\u00a0– no rehearsal – enjoy your day off!<\/span><\/p>\n

-Wednesday, November 8th\u00a0– no rehearsal<\/span><\/p>\n

-Thursday, November 9th and Friday, November 10th\u00a0– rehearsal for the Salute the Troops Concert.\u00a0 The rehearsals are from\u00a03:10-4:00pm.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

-Sunday, November 12th\u00a0– Salute the Troops Concert at Northeast Middle School with the Allentown Band and Lehigh Valley Men’s Chorale.\u00a0 Report time for the after school vocal groups is\u00a01:15pm\u00a0on\u00a0Sunday, November 12th.\u00a0 See Mrs. Parker for details.<\/span><\/p>\n

SALUTE THE TROOPS CONCERT: The ticket orders for the Salute the Troops concert have been extended to\u00a0Wednesday, November 8<\/span>TH<\/span>. Remember:\u00a0 tickets are at the reduced rate of $5.\u00a0 If you purchase tickets the day of the concert, the cost is $10.\u00a0 See Mrs. Parker or Mr. Rupnik with any questions.<\/span><\/p>\n

SPORTS:\u00a0<\/span>Due to scheduling conflicts with both the main gym and the auxiliary gym, there will be no basketball open gyms for either the 7th or 8th grade boys until further notice.\u00a0 See coach Carlstrom if you have any questions.<\/span><\/p>\n

*Ready to play basketball ladies?! \u00a0Open gym will be every\u00a0Wednesday\u00a0until tryouts start.\u00a0<\/span>Please stop by Coach Schaffrick\u2019s office to pick up the intramural form. It is the only way you can participate.\u00a0 No exceptions!!!<\/span><\/p>\n

TEAM ACTIVE:\u00a0<\/span>Team active has completed their painting inspirational words on rocks activity. This random act of kindness project will lead you to find one of these stones somewhere on the school grounds or in a neighborhood near you. If you find 1 of our stones, let us know! Thanks so much! From Team Active\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

ROBOTICS CLUB:\u00a0<\/span>Are you interested in robotics?\u00a0 Consider joining Northeast\u2019s robotics club. Robotics club will meet on Wednesdays from\u00a03:05 to 5:00pm\u00a0starting on\u00a0November 8th.\u00a0 You must get a signed permission slip handed before\u00a0November 8th.\u00a0 Permission slips are available in room A 307 which is Mr. Gavronski\u2019s room on the 8th grade floor. \u00a0Space is limited in robotics club so please get your permission slip handed in quickly to be considered.\u00a0 If you have any questions, please ask Mrs. Papagni or Mr. Gavronski.<\/span><\/p>\n

SKY ZONE GLOW JUMP:\u00a0<\/span>Today, November 6th\u00a0our parent organization\u00a0will be\u00a0sponsoring a glow jump at Sky Zone Westgate Mall from\u00a08 p.m. to 10 p.m.\u00a0for Northeast students only.\u00a0 The cost for this event will be $16, which includes jumping for 2 hours and unlimited beverages. You must wear a white shirt or purchase a glow shirt from Sky Zone for $5.\u00a0 Your parents must complete a waiver online or at SkyZone or you cannot jump. Tickets will be on sale at lunch from\u00a0October 31st through November 4<\/span>th<\/span>.\u00a0\u00a0This is a school event\u00a0so only Northeast students will be able to attend. NEPTO only has 200 tickets so first come, first serve.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

NEPTO FUNDRAISER:\u00a0<\/span>Are you ready for\u00a0Great food, sports and fun? Stop by Big Woody\u2019s and benefit Northeast!\u00a0<\/span>Where: Big Woody\u2019s, 625 Easton Ave.\u00a0<\/span>When:\u00a05 to 10 PM,\u00a0Thursday, Nov. 9.\u00a0<\/span>Includes dine in, carry-out and delivery.\u00a0 Flyer is needed.\u00a0<\/span>Northeast Middle School will receive 15% of ALL SALES from 5-10 so tell all your family and friends!\u00a0<\/span>Sponsored by NEPTO.
