{"id":2514,"date":"2018-01-09T13:55:10","date_gmt":"2018-01-09T13:55:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/basdwpweb.beth.k12.pa.us\/northeast\/?p=2514"},"modified":"2018-01-09T13:55:10","modified_gmt":"2018-01-09T13:55:10","slug":"announcements-for-january-8-2018","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/basdwpweb.beth.k12.pa.us\/northeast\/2018\/01\/09\/announcements-for-january-8-2018\/","title":{"rendered":"Announcements for January 8, 2018"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"fcbkbttn_buttons_block\" id=\"fcbkbttn_left\"><\/div><p>8th GRADE: As the weather turns colder and you are invited in the building before the\u00a08:05am\u00a0bell please keep the following in mind:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>you may not go anywhere else in the building without a pass,<\/li>\n<li>please stand on the green tile only,<\/li>\n<li>move toward the front of the group to make room for all of the students- Mr.\u00a0Beck will let you know where to stop,<\/li>\n<li>voices carry so please don\u2019t yell.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>AFTER SCHOOL VOCAL GROUPS: We will meet again as a group on Wednesday, January 17th.\u00a0 Please see Mrs. Parker with any questions or concerns.<\/p>\n<p>DEBATE CLUB: The Debate Club will hold its first winter meeting on\u00a0Tuesday Jan. 9th, after school, in room A105. Any returning members do not need to pick up a new form. If you are new please see Mr. Gross in A105 or Ms. Anderson in A204 to get a form. Hope to see you there!<\/p>\n<p>GIRL SCOUTS: The girl scouts will be meeting every\u00a0Friday\u00a0from\u00a03:10-4:05pm\u00a0until\u00a0April 6th.<\/p>\n<p>STEP TEAM: Practices are mandatory until the stomp show if you miss a practice you will not be in the Stomp Show. Our next practice is\u00a0Friday, January 12th, from\u00a03:15 PM until 5:20 PM.<\/p>\n<p>KNITTING CLUB: Session 2 of Knitting Club will be starting on January 16th\u00a0from 3:05-4:05pm.\u00a0 All are welcome to join and no prior experience is needed.\u00a0 Stop by Miss Ayre\u2019s room A208 to pick up a permission form.<\/p>\n<p>RALLY FOR PEACE: Rally 4 Peace has mandatory meetings Monday, Wednesday,\u00a0Thursday, and\u00a0Friday\u00a0after school until\u00a04PM. All Rally 4 Peace participates are to report to the auditorium 2nd period this entire week! We need to practice!<\/p>\n<p>Rally 4 Peace is taking our show on the road! Everyone is invited to the Ice House in Bethlehem on\u00a0Monday, January 15th at 7 PM.\u00a0 An adult must be present to attend! The show is free. Come see all the amazing original work that our Northeast students have been working on. We are so proud of them!<\/p>\n<p>WEEK OF PEACE: January 16th-19th<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Tuesday\u00a0(1\/16)-\u00a0\u00a0Pajama Day! Warm up to a new friend, get to know someone different today!\u00a0 Say hey, what\u2019s\u00a0up, hello to someone new!<\/li>\n<li>Wednesday\u00a0(1\/17)-\u00a0\u00a0Put a cap on conflict! Wear your favorite hat to school and pledge to be completely conflict free!<\/li>\n<li>Thursday(1\/18)-\u00a0\u00a0Actions speak louder than words!\u00a0 Wear something school appropriate that represents your favorite action hero &#8211; someone who takes\u00a0action for what\u2019s right.<\/li>\n<li>Friday(1\/19)-\u00a0\u00a0Respect for one another!\u00a0 Wear\u00a0your team t-shirt or team color to represent working together for\u00a0peace!\u00a0 We can always count on each other. This is also our Rally For Peace assembly day!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>HOMEWORK CLUB: 7th grade homework club the first meeting of the New Year will take place\u00a0Tuesday, January 9th.
