STEP TEAM:\u00a0<\/span>Step team will practice today, February 9, from\u00a03:15-4pm. Please be there if you want to perform in the pep rally.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

ZOMBIE CLUB:\u00a0<\/span>There will be Zombie Club today, February 9, after school. <\/span><\/p>\n

DRAMA:\u00a0Saturday, February 10<\/span>th<\/span>– Rehearsal for Mattress for the cast will be from\u00a09 AM until 12pm.\u00a0<\/span>If you have any questions or concerns, please see Mrs. Parker.<\/span><\/p>\n

GIRL SCOUTS:\u00a0<\/span>The girl scouts will be meeting every\u00a0Friday\u00a0from\u00a03:10-4:05pm\u00a0until\u00a0April 6th.<\/span><\/p>\n

SPORTS PHYSICALS:\u00a0<\/span>Attention any 7th or 8th grade student interested in playing soccer or softball for Northeast this Spring:\u00a0<\/span>You must have a sports physical in order to try-out for the Spring sports teams. If you have not had a sports physical this school year, there will be free sports physicals available.:\u00a0<\/span>Freedom High School –\u00a02\/13\/18\u00a0– Main Gym –\u00a05:00 pm – 7:30 pm\u00a0– Cost: FREE.\u00a0See Mr. Korcienski, Mrs. Jewell, or Mr. Spieker if you have any questions.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

WORLD LANGUAGE CLUB: Next meeting will be on\u00a0Monday, February 12th\u00a0after school in Madame Johnson’s room B202. We will be learning about Mardis Gras and Karneval!<\/span><\/p>\n

SPIRITWEAR:\u00a0Pom\u00a0poms\u00a0and beaded necklaces will be for sale\u00a0Monday\u00a0morning for the pep rally. The cost is $1. Show your school spirit!<\/span><\/p>\n

FUNDRAISER:\u00a0<\/span>Northeast has accepted the challenge of helping to find a cure for Blood Cancer! We are joining the 3 other Bethlehem middle schools, Liberty and Freedom high school, and over 27,000 schools across the nation to make a difference and raise as much money as we can for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society! From now until\u00a0February 16th\u00a0our school will be working to reach a goal of $1,000. If our school raises over $750, the homeroom that raises the most money will get an Olive Garden lunch! Check the community school bulletin board outside the cafeteria every\u00a0Monday\u00a0for updates on our progress.<\/span><\/p>\n

*Join David, Omar, Nelson, Shaaron, and Alexis in helping Puerto Rico in its time for crisis. They are holding a fundraiser at Town & Country Lanes on\u00a0February 10th from 12:30-2:30pm. \u00a0You can buy a 12$ ticket which will get you 2 hours of bowling and a shoe rental.\u00a0<\/span>For questions contact <\/span>adtorres@basdschools.org<\/span><\/a>\u00a0and for tickets see David Broczkowski in A212.\u00a0<\/span>There will also be a basket raffle for 1$ per ticket or 3$ for 5 tickets. TECH GIRLS:\u00a0<\/span>Attention 6th and 7th grade girls! In partnership with the YWCA, Tech Gyrls, an after school program for girls, by girl is coming to Northeast! Explore weekly STEM activities, do experiments, and think like a scientist. Tech Gyrls will be Thursdays after school from\u00a0February 22nd to April 19th. Space is limited to the first 20 students that sign up. If interested, please see Ms. Albus in student services for a permission slip.<\/span><\/p>\n

SCHOOL PHYSICALS:\u00a0<\/span>On Wednesday morning February 14, 2018 school physical exams will be done in the nurse\u2019s office. \u00a0Most of the students involved are sixth graders and all students involved will have individual hall passes. \u00a0Students: \u00a0If you have any physical exam form, please deliver it to the nurse\u2019s office now so we can update the schedule. While the physical exams are being done, the nurse\u2019s office will be closed except to those students having physical exams and those requiring medications. \u00a0Teachers: \u00a0Please allow the students to come to the nurse\u2019s office at the time on their pass. \u00a0If there is an emergency, please call Student Services 42903.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
