Remember&#8230;we will be announcing next year&#8217;s show after the viewing!\u00a0Also please bring in your scripts no later than\u00a0March 12th.\u00a0 If you are interested in keeping your script, the cost is $12.\u00a0 See Mrs. Parker with any questions or concerns.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>AFTER SCHOOL VOCAL GROUPS<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Thursday, March 8th\u00a0&#8211; Girls Group from\u00a03:10-4:00pm<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Monday, March 12th\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0In order to be able to see the video of this year&#8217;s musical, the Girls Group rehearsal will be combined with the Boys Group rehearsal on\u00a0Thursday, March 14th, from\u00a03:10-4:00pm.\u00a0 Please rearrange your calendar accordingly.\u00a0 Thank you for your flexibility, girls!<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>TECH GYRLS<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">:\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Attention 6th and 7th grade girls! In partnership with the YWCA, Tech Gyrls, an after school program for girls, by girls is coming to Northeast! Explore weekly STEM activities, do experiments, and think like a scientist. Tech Gyrls will be Thursdays after school from\u00a0February 22nd to April 19th. Space is limited to the first 20 students that sign up. If interested, please see Ms. Albus in student services for a permission slip.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>BOOK FAIR<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">: <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">It&#8217;s not too late! The book fair has been extended and the last day will now be\u00a0Monday, March 12! Hope to see you there!<\/span><\/p>\n<p>GIRL SCOUTS<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">:\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The girl scouts will be meeting every\u00a0Friday\u00a0from\u00a03:10-4:05pm until April 6th.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>SOCCER<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">:\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Monday\u00a0will be the start of Soccer Tryouts for the Northeast Soccer Team. Please have all proper Physical Form Packets and Section 7 Forms into Mr. Spieker by\u00a0Monday. There is a chance you cannot tryout unless you have these proper forms done with your parents &amp; guardians. If you need forms, please go to the Main Office or see Mr. Spieker in room A108.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">BOYS BASKETBALL: 6th Grade boys.\u00a0 There will be a 6th Grade boys basketball open gym on\u00a0Friday, 3\/9\/from 3:25 &#8211; 4:15pm.\u00a0 See Mr. Korcienski in A 107 if you have any questions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>FUNDRAISER<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">:\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Team Leaders Rock, is doing a project for kids with cancer at the Lehigh Valley Childrens Hospital. \u00a0Please help us get as many donations as possible for these amazing kids. Over the next 2 weeks, until\u00a0March 8th, you can donate these items:\u00a0 Craft supplies, movies and video games, board games, toys and toiletries like: deodorant, toothbrushes, mouthwash, toothpaste, body wash and etc. \u00a0There are boxes all throughout the school where you are able to drop off your item. Thanks for your help!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">*Hey 6th graders! Do you want to use your electronics for 8th and 9th period?\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Well, bring in $6 to use your electronics for 8th and 9th period in the auxiliary gym\u00a0March 9th. That is\u00a0this Friday! Bring the money in as soon as you can! All donations will help Action Against Hunger. See you there!<\/span><\/p>\n<p>WORLD LANGUAGE CLUB MEMBERS: <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Just a reminder that there will be a meeting today after school in Se\u00f1orita Danner&#8217;s room B201. Hope to see you there!<\/span><\/p>\n<p>WORLD PERCUSSION ENSEMBLE<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">:\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">World percussion ensemble, there is practice today, March 8! See everyone after school!<\/span><\/p>\n<p>MATH NERDS &amp; BRAIN BASHERS<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">:\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The nerds are back at Northeast. If you would like to join math nerds and Brain Bashers, please come to room A307, which is Mr, Gavronski\u2019s room,\u00a0on Thursday the 8th.\u00a0 Math Nerds and Brainbashers is a STEM club for kids who enjoy challenging puzzles and brain teasers.\u00a0 This year we will be incorporating the Lehigh Valley Bridge Design Contest into our club.\u00a0 Students will create a bridge design and submit it to the American Society of Civil Engineers.\u00a0 Students can complete this contest as an individual or as a team. Each member of the top team in the Middle School Category will receive a $100 cash scholarship.\u00a0 Students are encouraged to enter as many successful bridge designs as possible.\u00a0 Also, any former robotics students who did not complete their circuit boards during our robotics club session are welcome to continue soldering during any scheduled math nerds dates.\u00a0 If you have any questions please see Mrs. Papagni.\u00a0 Remember, it\u2019s better to be a nerd than one of the herd.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>DANCE TEAM<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">:\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Dance team, remember, forms are due.
